'A Summer Place', 7 The Drive, is situated in the extensive grounds of Penstowe Manor. It has all the comforts of a modern home sleeping four people in two bedrooms (one double, one twin), there is a fully equipped kitchen with an oven/grill, hob, microwave, toaster and fridge. The lounge/diner has a table and four chairs, comfortable sofas, flat screen TV with DVD/CD player and Freeview (Smart TV). The bathroom has a large walk-in shower. There is a south facing patio area to the front of the bungalow with garden furniture.
Bed linen is provided and beds are made up for your arrival. Bath mat, tea towel, oven gloves, books and games are also provided. The bungalow has electric heaters. Electricity is provided via meter cards which are available to purchase.
Flexible change-over days and short breaks available by agreement.
At the discretion of the owners, one well behaved dog is allowed to stay at the bungalow for a small additional charge. Please advise owner on booking if you wish to bring your dog. Dogs are not allowed on furniture or beds and must be kept on a lead at all times. Do not leave dogs alone in the bungalow. Dog by arrangement: £25 extra.
This is an independent self-catering holiday. We recommend you arrange you own holiday insurance.
Not suitable for persons of restricted mobility.
RENTAL NOTES
Bookings, Payment and Cancellations
• All offers of accommodation are subject to availability.
• £100 deposit secures up to one week's booking. (Non-refundable.)
• Bookings will not be confirmed until the deposit payment has been received . We will then confirm receipt of your payment and booking.
• The balance payment is due 6 weeks prior to the start of your holiday. An additional sum of £50 (refundable damages deposit) is payable with your balance.
• Failure to pay the balance on time may result in the loss of your deposit and cancellation of your booking.
• Payments are non-refundable unless we are able to re-let your booking, in which case we will refund any monies you have paid to us, less any difference in the amount we have received from the replacement booking and the £100 deposit.
• We highly recommend you take out HOLIDAY INSURANCE against any circumstances that may give you cause to cancel.
• One dog by arrangement with owner only. £25.

By Jo on 19-Oct-2025This was our second stay at Number 7. Once again it did not disappoint. The chalet is beautifully decorated giving a lovely cosy beach hut feel. The chalet is well maintained and equipped with a lovely spacious hot shower. Particular highlights for us were a beautiful cliff walk around Sandymouth and a visit to Boscastle. The village nestled in the valley is lovely and the views from the cliff walks are stunning. Thank you once again Jane and Kevin what a lovely little gem number 7 is.
Tastefully presented. Calm and quiet.
By Katherine on 08-Aug-2025The bungalow was tastefully presented and I liked that the area was generally calm and quiet. Our host was very helpful and the whole booking process was easy. We enjoyed exploring this area of Cornwall and discovering the Bude area as well as Padstow. Being quite near to some NT beaches was also an excellent draw. Our only wish is for the site to have proper recycling facilities. Overall we had a good time and enjoyable time. Thank you Jane.
Our 4th stay was wonderful!

We absolutely love the chalet, it's clean, well maintained, cosy and such a lovely hub for our Cornwall fix. On the off chance needing any assistance, Wave holidays are always welcoming and quick to react. Giving piece of mind. We would certainly stay a 5th time and many more with Wave Holidays, they add an even more special element to our favourite holiday destination :)

By Helen on 16-Jul-2025We stayed for 5 night at No 7 The Drive. The bungalow was clean and tidy with everything we needed. The weather was so hot that the bungalow was hot and it was difficult to keep cool. Easy access to local shops and pubs which we took advantage of and a short drive to wonderful beaches. Loved it and would visit again.
