Description
Teacosy cottage a very old over 300 year old terraced cob cottage and only 500 meters from the pub church , community shop.The cottage has it's own parking carpark or you are able to park right outside on the road all easy access.
The owner has lived here all her life and adjoins the cottage and can help you with any enquiries you have on local knowledge.
The south facing cottage gets the sunshine and with the furniture on the patio welcomes a peaceful area to unwind
The character cottage flagstones exposed beams has all electric kitchen with amenities air fryer dishwasher washer/dryer. Freezer.
Off the flagstone hall way leads into the beaned lounge with it's open fire place wood burner recliner chairs and south facing getting the morning sunshine.
A flight of stairs takes you to 3 bedrooms.
But 4 persons are advised due to the configuration of the smaller lay out of the rooms downstairs.( But can be discussed)

Bude and widemouth bay beaches are only approx 2 miles away known for Thier excellent surfing Bude offers indoor heated swimming pool,10 pinch bowling, golf course and cinema and as well as the supermarkets lots of quirky shops.
Day trips can take you to port Issac, Boscastle tintagel bridge eden project and Bodmin and Dartmoor.

Warm and cosy
By Linda on 26-Oct-2025We received a very warm welcome from the owner: tea, coffee, milk and cake awaiting us on our arrival. Tea Cosy Cottage is the archetypal Cornish cottage with slate floors and stone fireplaces. It was lovely and warm, and comfortable. A designated parking space was very useful and its location in Marhamchurch with easy access to beaches, Bude, and surrounding area was much appreciated.

By Ruth and Rob on 25-Jul-2025We really enjoyed our stay in Tea cosy cottage and appreciated all the little touches that the owner had done for us - welcome drinks and milk and local cakes, our boys loved that treat! They also enjoyed the fresh produce available for sale from our front wall - the best cucumbers my youngest has ever tasted. Really useful having parking space across the road. Plenty of space for the 4 of us within the house - we all slept well there. The cottage was in a quiet location but only a short drive from Bude and the local beaches. The owner could not have been more helpful and welcoming, would definitely recommend to other families.
