Description
Millook Water is a cosy single-storey cottage 150 metres from the sea; it that can house up to 5 guests comfortably.The front door leads into the fully stocked and quaint kitchen with: a ceramic hob, grill, double oven, microwave, washing machine, toaster, coffee grinder, and cutlery and utensils.
Beyond the kitchen is the spacious main room which offers a fantastic open space for a meal, playing board games and a glass or three of red wine. All rooms of the house are accessible from here and therefore it is the heart of the house.
Through the dining area, you reach the snug end with its wood burner. Surrounding the wood burner are comfortable furnishings to fall into after a long, hard day at the beach. For music fans: there is a stereo system with cd player and a record player with a large, choice of vinyl. Feel free to bring your own!
The master bedroom, complete with king size bed, is light with a view out over the valley and coast path. You can enjoy your morning tea or coffee whilst relaxing in the sunshine and taking in the striking views.
The twin bedroom is home to two single beds and lots of games and puzzles to keep everyone busy on a rainy day. There is also a single bedroom with a beautiful view overlooking the sloping garden which leads down to the trickling stream.
A large family bathroom serves all bedrooms and is also accessible from the main room. The shower is over the bath.
The outdoor spaces are truly delightful and make the most of the charming Cornish countryside. The large terrace overlooks the rugged valley and steep cliff which hosts the South West Coast Path. Wander down the steps to the stream.
Take a cup of coffee (or a beer if it's that time of day) down with you. Sit on the bench and watch the stream go by.
If you go in Summer or Autumn, you will se masses of hydrangeas:
The stream runs is a great place for building a dam or for a game of hide and seek.

The terrace is a fantastic sun trap during the day and is really good for a barbecue using the fire pit:
The garden is long and sloping and boasts an abundance of vibrant wild flowers, shrubs and the odd fruit trees. The firepit creates wonderful bbq’s,
There is nothing quite like watching the sun go down. On summer nights, it is a wonderful sheltered place to sit outside at night and study the stars.
All of the property is shielded from the lane and is therefore particularly private and quiet.
