Description

This striking contemporary holiday cottage offers an exceptional self catering escape in the heart of the Peak District, making it ideal for large groups, families and friends. Once a former telephone repeater station, the property has been completely transformed into a unique and stylish retreat sleeping up to 18 adults, or up to 24 guests when children are included.

The property features nine modern, beautifully designed bedrooms, all with private en suite bathrooms. Three of the bedrooms are conveniently located on the ground floor, making the property suitable for guests with reduced mobility.

Each bedroom is finished to the same high standard, ensuring no one misses out on comfort or style. Bedrooms can be arranged as twins or doubles to suit your group, and beds are made up ready for your arrival. Fresh towels, hand soap and shower gel are provided. En suite facilities include a mix of spacious rainfall showers and full size baths with showers over.

Designed with sociable group stays in mind, the ground floor offers a vast open plan living, dining and kitchen area. The lounge is contemporary and welcoming, with large comfortable sofas, additional relaxed seating options and a striking wall mounted log burner as the focal point of the room.

Entertainment includes a 52 inch flat screen TV with Freeview and a table football, perfect for evenings together after a day exploring the Peak District.

The sleek, minimalist kitchen combines gloss white and slate grey finishes to create a truly modern space. A large central island with breakfast bar seating and an electric hob allows guests to cook and socialise at the same time.

The kitchen is exceptionally well equipped for self catering, featuring four electric ovens, a microwave, extensive cookware, crockery, utensils and glassware. There are two dishwashers, a washing machine, tumble dryer, generous storage and plenty of work surface space. Guests can choose to cater for themselves or take advantage of recommended local outside catering options.

The kitchen overlooks an open plan dining area with three long modern tables providing comfortable seating for up to 24 guests, making it ideal for group meals, celebrations and special occasions.

A standout feature of the property is the brand new handcrafted eco wood fired hot tub with hydro jets. Thoughtfully designed with sustainability in mind, this luxurious addition offers a peaceful place to relax while enjoying far reaching panoramic views across the Peak District towards the High Peak and Tissington traffic free trails.

Comfortably accommodating up to five guests, the hot tub is perfect for easing tired legs after a long walk, enjoying a quiet evening under the stars or simply soaking up the beautiful rural scenery.

Set back from the A515 between Buxton and Ashbourne, the property enjoys a peaceful and private position with beautiful views over open countryside and the trails beyond. The landscaped grounds include a sunny rear patio positioned to make the most of the views, with three large outdoor tables and benches ideal for alfresco dining.

A barbecue is provided for use between 1 April and 31 October. Guests are asked to supply their own charcoal and lighting equipment.

The unrivalled location places you right in the heart of the Peak District, with the High Peak Trail and Tissington Trail just 200 metres away. These popular traffic free routes are perfect for walking and cycling, with bike hire available just a minute’s walk away at Parsley Hay Café.

The property is cycle friendly and dog friendly, with plenty of private parking for up to 10 cars. A 7kW smart electric vehicle charging point is located within the grounds and is available for guest use, with minimal charges applying.

We operate a live booking system and prices change periodically with demand, you may see prices increase or decrease depending on your chosen dates, length of stay and seasonal changes. Please contact us directly for up to date prices.
