Cliff Hollins Farm is a working hobby farm. Debbie has a huge passion for sheep.
Most are pets and a selection of show sheep. We lamb in late January, or early February most years, and you would be more than welcome to be present when new lambs arrive, if this interests you.
We have chickens and a cockerel, his roost is situated a distance from The Barn but you may hear him from time to time. We also have a Peacock and Peahens, however these are pretty quiet birds for their kind.
The Barn is arranged over two floors.
On the ground floor, there is an open plan living and dining area, with a fully equipped custom-built kitchen with everything you need for a home-from-home getaway.
A generous oak table that seats up to 6 comfortably to perhaps enjoy a meal and a drink, or to perhaps relax and play some of the many board games provided.
The lounge area has a comfortable corner sofa and easy chairs around a large wall mounted TV for your pleasure.
Bedroom 1 is also situated on the ground and has an en-suite shower room. The en-suite has a spacious shower with a low-level shower tray for ease of access.
This bedroom can either be set up as a twin with two x 3ft single beds, or as a double with a super king bed configuration. Please let us know your preference.
Moving upstairs, there are two generous sized bedrooms with kingsize beds and luxury 'Simba' mattresses. The shower room is also accessed from the landing. Additionally, there is a dedicated workspace with a desk, monitor and seat.
Outside there is a parking area to the side of the Barn and on the back there is a walled patio with a table and chairs for 6 people. On a separate terrace there is a Gas BBQ, BBQ Table and a Bistro Set for 2. There are also benches placed around the garden area for you to sit and take in the views.
Accessibility - There is step free access from the private parking area to the front door. Inside, the ground floor is all on the same level. The ground floor bed has an en-suite shower room, with step-free access and a low level shower tray. All ground floor doorways have been designed with wheelchair access in mind. A ramp can be provided for the front door on request, as can a shower stool.
Horse Riding - You can bring your horse or pony on holiday too (please enquire for rates). We have an indoor 10 x 10 stable situated behind The Barn, and also a 12 x 12 stable in a separate yard across a field. We can provide straw bedding and hay if required or you can bring your own. We can also offer parking for your trailer or lorry. You can either go hacking from here and go where your fancy takes you, or load up your steads and drive deeper into The Peak District, Chatsworth or the Derbyshire Dales.

Leave ReviewIdillic Countryside Retreat
By Meera on 23-Nov-2025A cosy idillic countryside retreat, ideal for a long weekend away and a beautiful home where we felt very relaxed! The hosts were very welcoming and introduced us to all their animals on the farm! Everything was thought of in the house, we especially loved all the board games! We would recommend staying here for a relaxing break in the countryside
