Description

‘The Aviary is one of three stylish contemporary holiday lets located near the Cornwall/Devon border and midway between the north and south Cornish coasts. Our two other properties are located in the same grounds - the Beehive(P183419) and the Chrysalis(P183420). The Aviary sleeps 9 (there are two single sofabeds in lounge) and is perfect for large families or groups of friends with plenty of outdoor space to explore and a large lawned area for ball games. The WiFi connection is good and there are smart TVs. There is plenty of on-site parking and a drying room and storage for cyclists, walkers, or those with motorbikes.
Perfectly situated for visiting the many local attractions: Eden Project, Cothele House and Quay, Tamar Valley outdoor pursuits, Morwelham Quay, Trethorne Leisure Park, St Mellion golf course and health club, Adrenalin Quarry to name but a few! If you wish to book fewer than 7 nights, this can usually be arranged, please do ask. Usually we operate a Saturday changeover but during low season we have more flexibility, so please ask.
We request a refundable damages/cleaning deposit of £150.
There is an EV charging point at the local carpark and at the local Tesco, we cannot facilitate on-site charging.

Wonderful relaxing stay

The Aviary is easily the best holiday accommodation we have ever been privileged enough to stay at. A tranquil & peaceful location , it gets more breathtaking when you walk in. The accommodation is spacious with high quality rooms & facilities which are absolutely stunning. The owners Linda & Dan provide a wonderful service from booking to departure, without being intrusive. We had a wonderful relaxing stay, I cannot recommend this accommodation highly enough, we really did not want to go home! The central location was excellent for us , giving us scope to easily travel to nearby tourist attractions, only a short trip to either the Tamar Valley or Bodmin moor, both areas of outstanding natural beauty. We cannot wait to return.

Beautiful Cottage

We had stayed with Linda before in the Chrysalis and had a wonderful stay. So when we decided to book our summer break in Cornwall, Butterbee House was our first thought. When I enquired, Linda was completely booked up, but by luck, was just in the middle of completing another cottage so we booked in to the Aviary. When we arrived, we were completely blown away by how beautiful and stylish the cottage was. Incredibly spacious with everything you needed. A proper home from home. The private patio was lovely, and the views quite spectacular. Lovely warm rainforest showers were also a bonus! It really made our week in Cornwall, we loved it so much, we've already booked again! Would 100% recommend staying at Butterbee House, it's an absolute gem!
