Description
Nestling in the Lot Valley surrounded by limestone cliffs Les Costes is a large comfortable family friendly house with garden and pool in the picturesque village of Calvignac close to the River Lot and all its water activities, and 10km from St-Cirq-Lapopie. A big open plan layout means lots of room for fun and relaxation. Next to the pool is a pool house (cabane) with kitchenette, bbq and pizza oven. The historic towns of Cahors, Figeac and Villefranche-de-Rouergue as well as the Grotte du Pech Merle are within an easy drive. The nearest village with a shop (and castle!) is Cenevieres (3km) and the market town of Cajarc with shops, garage and supermarket is 10km away.The house has a large open plan dining/sitting area with a table seating 12 people, comfortable sofas and a Smart TV. Two double doors lead to the West facing front terrace with outside table and chairs so you can watch the sun setting.
The well-equipped kitchen with two fridge/freezers, dishwasher, oven, hob and microwave leads on to the East facing terrace with another outside table so you can enjoy the morning sun.
There are two double bedrooms, a toilet and large bathroom with separate shower and bath on the ground floor. Upstairs are two further double bedrooms and two twin bedrooms, two shower rooms and one toilet.
Downstairs in the basement is the laundry with washing machine and games room with pool table and table tennis, a cool place to be in the summer heat.
7 day minimum stay in July and August, 3 day minimum the rest of the year. Sunday changeover day in July and August. Rest of the year any day.

Nous avons profité de la terrasse et aussi de la cheminée le soir, et le matin au petit déjeuner! Merci d'avoir rendu ces trois jours très agréables .Peut-être aurons -nous une autre occasion d'y séjourner et de nous rencontrer; nous gardons la bonne adresse! Cordialement Françoise
Agréable gite au calme

Nous avons pu profiter des 2 terrasses en fonction de la météo, certains d' entre nous on pu se baigner dans la piscine un peu fraiche compte tenu de la météo. Rosamund et Robert nous ont gentiment accueillis et ont pris le temps de nous expliquer le fonctionnent de la maison. Sans hésitation, je recommande ce gite idéalement bien placé pour randonner et visiter la vallée du Lot et du Célé.
Lovely house, set in a gorgeous area of Southern France
By Chris Cammiss on 27-Jul-2025The house itself was excellent. Very generous accommodation, just as listed. Plenty of space, plenty of rooms. Everything operational. Superb pool area - quality tiling, plenty of space, plenty of furniture. Gardens were good too - flowers everywhere, fruit trees in abundance. The local area was perfect for holiday makers with plenty of towns and villages within minutes, supermarkets if needed, bistros, bars, restaurants, markets in abundance. Lots of activities for everyone - especially on the water. Perfect holiday location.

Séjour idyllique en famille
By STEPH on 19-Apr-2025Notre séjour aux Costes s'est déroulé dans les meilleures conditions. Notre arrivée 1/2 plus tôt en accord avec Chloé qui nous attendait.Consignes et visite complète de la maison et des extérieurs sous une pluie battante.(tout est conforme par rapport au descriptif de l'annonce) Les espaces sont nombreux, nous avons fonctionné durant une semaine 5 adultes et 6 enfants sans se gêner et avec beaucoup d'autonomie(salle de jeux et extérieur très convoitée par les ados) L'equipement est très bien, placards rangements salle de bains .Nous avons fait du feu dans la cheminée presque chaque soir pour le plaisir . Le livrets de "bienvenue"nous a aidé à organiser notre séjour sur le plan pratique(magasins et services locaux) Chloé à été une fois encore une fois très arrangeante pour notre départ et l'état des lieux(vous avez trouvé la bonne personne pour cette mission) Votre région du Lot est magnifique et le Gîte "Les Costes" un endroit super pour sa découverte.
