Description

Suitable for any time of the year, Roselea Cottage is situated in a the oldest part of the village although not far from the main roads to Tenby, Pembroke, Haverfordwest and beyond. It is in an area popular for the nearby pretty walks around the castle and mill pond and not far from the coastal path.

After parking on the gravelled parking spaces adjacent to the cottage, next to the small front garden planted with a variety of mature shrubs and other plants, you will enter through the front door, straight into a spacious, fully tiled hallway.

To the right are doors to the bedrooms, the windows of which all overlook the garden. Each of the bedrooms have wood laminated floors, thermal blackout curtains, individual reading lights, bedside cabinets and full height wardrobes with drawers for storage. The double room also has a clock radio with USB points for charging phones and tablets.

The bathroom at the end of the hall is fully tiled and has a full sized bath with mains fed shower over, toilet and hand wash basin.

To the left of the bathroom you will find the door to the kitchen. Equipped to a high standard, the kitchen has a dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, electric oven with gas hob, full height fridge freezer and a table and chairs for four people, along with plenty of cutlery, crockery, glasses, pots and pans. The large window looks out onto the decking and has views over the millpond ensuring that doing the washing up is no longer a chore!

The door from the rear of the kitchen leads into a small porch or conservatory area and from there into the fully enclosed back garden.

Immediately outside the kitchen is a pretty decked area with a large wooden picnic bench and views over the mill pond. The rest of the garden is laid to lawn. There is a lockable wooden gate to the parking spaces from the garden.

Back inside the cottage you will walk from the kitchen dining area into the lounge which has a wood laminate floor, two comfortable leather sofas with throws and cushions, a large flat screen Smart TV with integral FreeView, HDMI extension lead for Firesticks or games consoles, a DVD player and brick built fireplace containing the wood burner. We provide a starter pack for the log burner between the beginning of October and the end of April, and more supplies are readily available at various local outlets.

This cottage has been fully refurbished to a high standard, has gas central heating throughout and free, fast broadband.

Included in the cost of your rental is: bedding and towels for each guest - one bath sheet and one hand towel per guest
all electricity and gas
washing up liquid and dishwasher tablets, dishcloth and scourer
tea towels

On request we can provide a travel cot, high chair and /or booster seat free of charge, but we don't provide bedding for the cot.

We welcome one or two well behaved dogs at £10 per week each. However, we do ask that they are not permitted to jump or sleep on the furniture and are not be left alone anywhere in the property for any length of time.

This is a strictly no smoking property.

We ask for a refundable good housekeeping bond of £150 which, unless you have damaged or smoked in the property, will be returned to you by online bank transfer within seven days of the end of your holiday. I will contact you to arrange this a day or two after you have left.

Please note: During the summer school holidays we will only take bookings for seven nights, or multiples thereof, Saturday to Saturday.
