When you arrive at the cottage you will find ample parking for two cars. You can access the cottage either along a path through the garden and down three steps or via level access to the side of the property’s terraced area. The cottage itself benefits from being all on one level.
Y Bwthyn is set in its own private garden where you will find a small patio area to sit and catch the sun while enjoying morning coffee or some time with a good book. Directly outside the cottage there is a terraced area with a dining table, along from which you will find a brick built BBQ for those budding al fresco chefs. Outdoor lounge style seating gives you a space to relax with a cocktail or two.
Our touch of luxury is the hot tub, where you can unwind after a busy day in its warm soothing waters. Outdoor lighting ensures you can enjoy the garden day or night.
The cottage has a small porch, ideal for hanging your coats and stowing your walking boots after a lovely country walk. The porch leads in to the spacious open plan living room. Here you will find a fully equipped modern fitted kitchen complete with everything you will need for your stay, including a dishwasher so you don’t have to do the washing up! Sitting at the dining table you can enjoy views of our newly planted orchard and growing beds. For relaxation, the comfy sofas are nestled around the log burner, perfect for snuggling up on a winters evening.
Along the hallway you will find the main bedroom, which has a vaulted ceiling and views over the private garden. A king sized bed and crisp white linen will ensure a good nights sleep. The second bedroom contains two single beds which can be linked to create a standard double, allowing the flexibility to accommodate a couple or two children.
The bathroom, finished in luxurious porcelain tiles, is where guests can enjoy the walk in rainfall shower. Underfloor heating runs throughout the property ensuring you will never experience cold feet in the mornings! The provision of fluffy white towels teamed with robes and slippers for the hot tub complete our countryside retreat offering provided at Y Bwthyn.
