Tremerth Cottage is a renovated barn on Castallack Farm near Mousehole in West Cornwall. The gorgeous granite holiday cottage sleeps two people in one bedroom, superking or twin beds as requested, & is perfect for couples or singles who are looking for peace, quiet & plenty of room where they can escape for a lovely holiday close to the Cornish coast.
The cottage is a wonderful mix of new & old with stone walls & original beams blended with modern features & comfortable furnishings resulting in a special & welcoming retreat for holidaymakers all year round. Outside is a delight with a wild woodland garden, about half an acre, mainly to grass with a firepit & picnic table for alfresco dining & relaxing at any time.
Tremerth is dog friendly & very comfortable & spacious with all you need for a relaxing holiday in the far West of Cornwall. Warm, cosy & well equipped it’s a great place to unwind in glorious surroundings. Castallack is a quiet rural hamlet, think 8 houses, surrounded by great views over the surrounding countryside designated as 'an area of outstanding natural beauty'. Only a mile & a half from Mousehole & slightly less to Lamorna Cove you can walk to both quite easily along quiet roads with terrific views of the country & sea. Shops, restaurants, cafe's, pubs & museums are all within easy reach as is the South West Coast Path & National cycle route 3 which runs past our door. Beaches are numerous within a short drive. Particularly popular are Sennen cove, Marazion, Porthcurno & Pedn Vounder.
Walking, cycling & mountain biking are always popular & we have secure storage for your bikes in one of our stables or large barn.
We usually rent for one or two weeks but also offer short breaks. The prices obviously vary but as a guide the percentage of the full rental are: 3 nights = 80%,
4 nights =85%, five nights = 90% & six nights = 95%. You cannot book these online so please call us on 01736 731969. In the summer season these options may be limited
There’s a woodburner in the lounge for cooler summer evenings and full central heating in the winter, October to April inclusive from 8am to 10pm, other hours available on request. 1st bag of logs included then available at cost.
Overlooking the surrounding countryside & with plenty of outside space including a pergola with garden furniture at the side of the cottage.
Private parking right by the cottage.

No smoking in the cottage.

Inside – what to expect!
Living room – comfy leather sofa – woodburning stove – flatscreen digital TV with Freeview – DVD recorder/player – digital radio – dedicated router for your internet needs with average speeds of around 15-30mbps, lovely dual aspect views.
Kitchen/diner – fully fitted – dishwasher – microwave – gas cooker, fridge with ice box.
Bedroom – the large bedroom has a super kingsize zip & link bed for the ultimate in luxurious sleeping. With a quality interior sprung mattresses & goose feather & down bedding. This will also provide two three foot beds if required, please advise when booking how you would like the bed configured. There is also a flatscreen digital TV, a hairdryer and loads of hanging & cupboard space.
Bathroom – large shower with multi nozzle power shower, shaver socket, toilet and basin.
