What a relief.

By Happy Traveller on 20-Aug-2022

After the past couple of years it was such a relief to discover Chez Roullett. You never know until you arrive if it will live up to your expectation, it more than surpassed ours. We could tell that Gaynor and Steve took Covid very seriously, the cottage was spotless and you could smell the cleanliness. We just wanted to relax and unwind, it was easy to do that either by laying by the pool or just sitting on the terrace with a glass of wine just watching the wildlife. What a wonderful find, thank you.

Perfect peace and quiet

By cgtamtra on 13-Sep-2021

This gite is in a wonderful spot with fantastic views across the whole countryside. It is a wonderfully quiet and peaceful place, perfect for relaxing. The pool, which you have to yourself is secluded and a great place to sunbathe, read your book then cool off. The gite is comfortable, light and airy with wonderful full height space and the balcony with those wonderful views is sunny and spacious. Perfect for breakfast, dinner and watching the night sky with a glass of local wine. There are plenty of places to visit, small medieval towns and hilltop villages, markets and larger towns an easy drive, plenty of places to eat out. The owners are on hand should you need help and advice but you will be left in peace if that''s what you want. We have hand a wonderfully relaxing week in this fantastic spot and would happily return.

Just what we were looking for

Very peacfull lacotion with, from the terrace, wonderful vieuws across the valley. A great location for both exploring and relaxing. The region has many things to do and plenty of historic towns and villages to visit. We''ve enjoyed some walks in the beautiful countryside, The cottage had everything we needed and was spotless clean when we arrived. The swimming pool provided the perfect escape from the heat. The gite''s owners, are close by and were fantastically helpful without being obtrusive. We wouldn''t hesitate to visit Chez Roullett again, and would definitely recommend it as a peaceful getaway location. We have wonderful memories from our stay here. Thanks Steve and Gaynor!
