Perfect peace and quiet

By CG Tamtra on 25-Sep-2021

This gite is in a wonderful spot with fantastic views across the whole countryside. It is a wonderfully quiet and peaceful place, perfect for relaxing. The pool, which you have to yourself is secluded and a great place to sunbathe, read your book then cool off. The gite is comfortable, light and airy with wonderful full height space and the balcony with those wonderful views is sunny and spacious. Perfect for breakfast, dinner and watching the night sky with a glass of local wine. There are plenty of places to visit, small medieval towns and hilltop villages, markets and larger towns an easy drive, plenty of places to eat out. The owners are on hand should you need help and advice but you will be left in peace if that's what you want. We have hand a wonderfully relaxing week in this fantastic spot and would happily return.

A perfect hideaway!

By Room3185478 on 28-Aug-2021

The first thing that was so striking, apart from the very attractive approach and setting, was the wonderful view from the balcony! It is glorious, just cows, trees, fields and peace. Then it was very apparent that the cottage was extremely clean, airy, light and well-appointed. The mezzanine bedroom was spacious and the bed linen all so very clean. The walk in shower was of high quality and everything was very pleasing in every way. The owners couldn't have been nicer and were so very helpful and kind (but non-intrusive), as my husband had hurt his back on the way down and needed a doctor. The pool was delightful and hidden away. It was such a beautiful setting with lovely pots and flowers, that I couldn't stop taking photos! If you are looking for time out away from stress and strain, this is a wonderful retreat, one of the best places we have ever stayed in all our years of going to France. You will not be disappointed!

If you want somewhere beautiful, peaceful and private then this is the place to book. The hosts Steve and Gaynor are there if you need them ready to offer help and advice on all things local and French! The gite is equipped with everything you need and the views are awesome. The pool is such a welcome retreat on those hot days. Don't look anywhere else!
