Description

Situated in the foothills of the Pyrenees near the medieval village of Castelnou, designated one of "The Most Beautiful Villages in France", and 10 minutes from the historic market town of Thuir. Set in half an acre, this Catalan stone mas has a spacious living area which opens onto a south facing terrace with private pool. Stunning uninterrupted views from the Mediterranean in the east to Mount Canigou in the west. Comfortable accommodation for four people with a mezzanine double bedroom accessed via a spiral staircase (not suitable for the elderly or very young) and a twin bedded room off the living area. Fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher and washing machine. Idyllic location for a peaceful holiday, 12 miles from Perpignan, 20 miles to the Mediterranean and the Spanish border.
