Perched on the top floor with uninterrupted views over Cawsand Bay, The Bay offers a front-row seat to the ever-changing tides, bobbing boats, and golden sunsets. The apartment opens up to a beautiful panoramic view that you can get lost in for hours, watching the world go by. And with the beach just steps away, you’ll be on the shoreline in seconds. Set in the twin villages of Cawsand and Kingsand on the Rame Peninsula, this is one of Cornwall’s most charming and peaceful coastal corners. Guests can enjoy: * Beach Access – Cawsand Beach is just outside, perfect for swimming, paddleboarding, or relaxing with a coffee and the sea breeze. * Pubs & Dining – A short stroll takes you to The Cross Keys, The Devonport Inn, The Halfway House, and The Rising Sun, all offering a variety of food choices, local ales, and a warm welcome. * Coastal Walks – The South West Coast Path leads to Whitsand Bay (5 miles), a favourite for local surfers. For more consistent waves, Cornwall’s north coast beaches like Polzeath and Fistral are worth the drive. * Ferry to Plymouth – From Easter to October, the Cawsand Ferry takes you across the water to Plymouth’s historic Barbican. Year-round, the Cremyll Ferry offers another scenic route into the city. * Mount Edgcumbe Country Park – Just a short drive or walk away, with gardens, woodland trails, and panoramic views across Plymouth Sound. Further afield, guests can explore the Eden Project, Tintagel Castle, or the dramatic cliffs of the Minack Theatre — all within reach for a day trip. But many find everything they need right here: sea, sand, scenery, and a slower pace that makes every moment feel like a true escape.

SLEEPING: * Beautiful and comfortable master bedroom with a high vaulted ceiling and huge velux balcony windows, inviting you to fall asleep to the sound of the waves. Bedroom features a super king size bed, chest of drawers, one bedside table, Apple TV and blackout blinds. * Master en-suite with a walk in rainfall shower, heated towel rail, WC and basin. * Family bathroom with bath and shower overhead, heated towel rail, WC and basin. * Underfloor heating on the first floor. * Cot and highchair available. * Wi-Fi. OUTSIDE: * Balcony at the back of the property, the perfect spot to enjoy sundowners as the sky turns shades of pink. * Outside shower to rinse sandy feet and wetsuits, and a pullout airer to hang up swimming gear. * One allocated parking space in the garage below * Second bedroom makes for the perfect workspace if needed, with fold away king size bed which can be discreetly tucked away to maximise space, wardrobes, chest of drawers, Apple TV, desk which can sit two people, touch bedside lights and USB ports. The TV screen can also be used as an additional work screen. * The second bedroom is also a cosy and relaxing space and the fold away bed can simply be used to make space for morning yoga. * Third bedroom with innovative smart beds, meaning you can choose from having up to four single beds depending on your group size. These are all wall beds and can be configured in any way you like e.g. singles, bunk beds or cabin beds, with built in wardrobes, a chest of drawers, touch lighting, USB ports and a blackout blind.

Stylish and light filled apartment on the top floor of the development, designed for laid back beach living. * Open plan living space with kitchen, dining area and panoramic views over Cawsand Bay. * A beautiful light and airy feel, with contemporary furnishings, neutral colour palette and a layout which draws the eyes to the ocean. * Living area includes a large corner sofa, two slipper chairs, large footstool, 75 inch TV with Freeview and apps, Sonos arc sound bar and three Velux balcony widows which draw the outdoors in. * Dining space features an oval miniforms table with six chairs and two additional chairs in the second bedroom, seating eight in total, with views of the sea to enjoy whilst you dine. * Kitchen space features Miele appliances : induction hob, oven, fridge, separate freezer, dishwasher, microwave, wine fridge, Delonghi coffee machine and Quooker hot water tap, making beachside breakfasts and family dinners easy. * Utility cupboard with washing machine, tumble dryer and airer. * Cot and highchair available. * Cosy underfloor heating throughout. * WiFi. * Lift access to the apartment.

Check In; Check-in time is from 4pm. We can sometimes arrange an early check-in so please contact us if you will arrive early and we'll do our best, without any promises. If you are arriving early, have a look at the Local Area Guide section. We've listed lots of things to do around the area - it's time for you to kick back and start relaxing! The keybox code will be sent 30 mins prior to your arrival and is auto generated via Airbnb - this will also be the same code for the Bins downstairs. Check Out; Check-out time is strictly 10am. Should you require a later check-out we will do our best but you need to let us know beforehand. If we have guests arriving that day it will be almost impossible to offer a late check-out due to the cleaners needing to prepare for those guests. However if you need to check out earlier (perhaps the night before) then feel free to let us know and then just pop the keys in the key box

Arrival by Car : After the M5 and A38 to Plymouth, Cawsand can be reached either by crossing the Torpoint Ferry or by crossing the Tamar Bridge. Follow directions from Torpoint supplied by the owner – do not use Sat Nav. beyond Torpoint – it takes you through very narrow lanes and even across a ford but you also lose signal so it can be disastrous! Once in Torpoint signs for Millbrook should be followed as you move along the A374. Once you arrive at Anthony take a left and follow signs from there and transit along the B3247. Once in Millbrook Kingsands / Cawsands should be clearly signposted. We have a locked compound where you can park x1 vehicle a luxury in this part of the Cawsands. Keys will be left in a lockup adjacent to the entrance of the compound itself. Prior to your arrival further details will be provided to gain access to the property. If you happen to be bringing two vehicles then please use the public car park located to right as you exit Cawsand (a two minute walk from your stay). Pay and Display Charges are approx. £5.40 per day – £29.90 per week. There is also a another Public Car Park within 5 minutes walk from The Bay and some parking on the streets, if you are lucky. Arrival by Train : Plymouth is the nearest main line station. A taxi all the way to Tarkwa from Plymouth Station costs £25 – £30. It is cheaper to take a taxi to the Cremyll ferry to be met the other side by pre-arranged taxi. Cremyll Cabs Tel : 01752 – 822196. Geralds Cabs Tel : 01752 – 823703. There is also a bus to Cawsand. In the summer months taxi to the Barbican steps and use the Cawsand ferry – romantic arrival on the beach. Walk up the street to the cottage. Arrival by Air: Newquay airport is one hour away. Car Hire available at the airport. Easy car journey.

Payment Terms & Booking Conditions; Deposit: A 25% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your booking. Balance: The remaining balance is due two weeks prior to arrival. If payment is not received by this date, the booking will be considered cancelled and the full balance will still be payable. Security Deposit: A refundable security deposit of £500 is held for the duration of your stay. This will be returned in full following a satisfactory inspection by our cleaning team. Please send this as a separate payment so it can be easily refunded via PayPal or bank transfer. Pets: Pets are welcome at a charge of £50 per pet. A separate document outlining pet terms of use will be provided. Booking Confirmation: Once payment is received, your booking is confirmed and our standard Terms & Conditions apply. Terms & Conditions: A full T&Cs document will be provided upon confirmation of booking and must be reviewed prior to payment. Payment will be considered acceptance of these terms. We had a wonderful stay in this lovely apartment in Cawsand! It was perfect for a family getaway clean, comfortable, and really well-equipped, especially if you’re travelling with kids. The location was ideal too right on the beach and the car park makes it really easy to unload. Highly recommend for families looking for a peaceful coastal break!
