Welcome to Harbourside Cottage, a beautifully restored Grade II Listed cottage right on the historic Quay in Charlestown, one of Cornwall’s most charming harbour villages. With its enviable spot next to the beach and sweeping sea views, it’s the perfect place to soak up the best of coastal living.
Step outside and, in under a minute, you’ll find not one but two sandy beaches. Wander the cobbled streets to discover cosy pubs, seafood restaurants, and laid-back cafés – all framed by some of Cornwall’s most stunning harbour scenery. Don’t miss out on the area’s foodie favourites, from mouthwatering steaks at The Longstore to a glass of wine overlooking the harbour at the newly refurbished Pier House Hotel.
Space for Everyone in the Upside Down House!
Harbourside Cottage comfortably sleeps six guests across three king-sized bedrooms, one with an ensuite bathroom. Two front bedrooms boast incredible harbour views, making it a joy to wake up by the sea. All bedrooms and the family bathroom are on the ground floor, while upstairs you’ll find the spacious open-plan living, dining, and kitchen area – perfectly positioned to take in those postcard-worthy views from morning to sunset.
Outdoor Living
From the well-equipped kitchen, step out to the rear courtyard, sunny garden, and terrace – your own private sanctuary. Whether it’s a family BBQ, an al fresco breakfast, or a glass of wine as the sun goes down, the space is designed for relaxed holiday moments together.

Wifi
The Wifi is strong, approx 40Mbps and the cottage has Sky TV. Some phone networks get minimal coverage in the cottage but Wifi calling resolves that issue.
Outside and around the Harbour & town seems to be OK. Lou is on O2 and is OK and gets full 4G.
The 2 bedrooms at the front of the cottage overlook the Harbour.
The bedroom at the rear of the cottage has a fantastic ensuite bathroom with drench shower.
The back garden and sun terrace have views out to sea and is a very quiet & private space for the family to enjoy any time of the day.

The cottage was perfect for all we needed and Lou was always brilliant at communicating with us. Thanks so much for a memorable stay!
This is truly a fabulous Airbnb . It is in the most incredible location right on the harbour and a stones throw from the beach .

Charlestown is a hive of activity during the day and into the evening but goes really quiet at night . All the activity takes place on the harbour below and on the opposite aide so it is not noisy in the Airbnb . It has a wonderful sense of friendliness and all the restaurants and coffee shops are genuinely accommodating .The house itself is the cleanest Airbnb I have ever stayed in and beautifully and simply furnished . It’s an upside down house with window seats to watch the world go by and a beautiful view of the sea . The car has to be parked away from the property due to lack of width in the harbour road .We never had a problem finding a space as it is a private road . The garden is accessed by stone steps to a really lovely lawn and full, colourful borders . There is work going on replacing the harbour bridge which makes the harbour noisier than usual

A gorgeous little beach on the doorstep and so many quaint eateries and pubs within walking distance .. the house itself was so spacious and well equipped and had a gorgeous garden .. thoughtful extras like a cot and smart tv which got access to many apps. it was amazing to be right next to the harbour and sit outside the cottage on the bench in the evening sunshine .. we are missing the place already and would recommend this cottage wholeheartedly.
