Oak Barn is the perfect venue for your group gathering , providing spacious , group guest accomodation in a large stylish barn conversion .Spacious five bedroom barn situated in an idyllic setting on the edge of the village of Chew Magna, Chew Valley, close to Bristol and Bath . Three bathrooms, two with powerful rain-showers, one with bath and shower.Courtyard parking for ten cars. Large private, enclosed garden . BBQ and patio area.
Well equipped kitchen with double oven and all you should need to cater for 16 guests.

By David on 19-May-2025Absolutely stunning property & the surroundings were beautiful. We were a family group of 12 aged from 2 to 62 & the Barn suited all our needs completely. Had one complete rainy day, where we stayed inside & had so much space for everyone. The children had plenty of room to play all sorts of games . The luxury provided here was second to none & we all felt so at home for the week. Attention to detail was everywhere you looked & having Vicki close by on hand, but out of sight, was a bonus for any info we needed. Every one of our family enjoyed our time here & we would definitely return in the future should we need a large spacious gorgeous accommodation. I honestly could not think of anything I would change or improve, its a wonderful escape to stay in :)

By Luke on 17-Mar-2025The Oak Barn at Old North Chew Farm is a lovely farmhouse just north of the quaint village of Chew Magna. The village centre is an easy walk from the house and Bristol is about a 20 min drive away so makes a great base outside the city. The house is set up well for big group stays, with a fully kitted modern kitchen and good number of bathrooms; the underfloor heating keeps everything toasty. The lounge area and wood burner made a great chill out area and the garden is lovely. Victoria was really friendly and informative providing lots of local recommendations and helping to arrange transport into Bristol. We had a great stay can highly recommend!
Beautiful cottage in a beautiful village.
By Rebecca on 26-May-2025A beautiful cottage in a beautiful village. Perfect for my hen party of 13. Cottage very clean and tidy with the huge added bonus of very comfortable beds! Dinning table that can seat us all and a well equipped kitchen. Would also be lovely for families to stay in also. I’d love to come back!

It made a fantastic social hub and was the heart of a truly memorable weekend. Vicki was incredibly helpful in the lead-up to our stay, quickly answering any questions and suggesting some great local activities to help us make the most of Chew Magna. We wouldn’t hesitate to book again—highly recommended!
Pristine and decorated beautifully
By Louise on 10-Mar-2025Amazing house - the huge, open plan living space was great for the 13 of us. Everything we needed was at the house, it was pristine and decorated beautifully. About a 30 min drive into Bristol which was ideal and a 5 minute walk into the local pubs. Thankyou!
Spacious and beautifully finished
By Pat on 13-Apr-2025We booked the barn for a family reunion, 3 generations. The place was spacious and beautifully finished. Everything worked, good bathrooms, plenty of hot water. The garden was safe with plenty of room for the children to play. It was an easy walk to the village. Victoria was welcoming and friendly. A great place to stay. Thank you.
