By Chris on 16-Aug-2024The house was very comfortable with a lovely garden and it looked just like the photos. We had a large family gathering there for a weekend and it was a just what we needed. We were lucky with the weather but could have all been inside if it hadn’t been nice. The kitchen was well equipped and we loved the large BBQ. Larry was staying right next door so welcomed us and showed us around the house. His guide for the home and area is very comprehensive and he was a proactive host.

By Helen on 30-Nov-2024Thank you so much for the wonderful experience. Your home looked incredible from the photos, but nothing prepared us for how impressive it would be in real life. We went to stay for my dad's 70th birthday and the house was perfect for multi generations. Everything we needed was provided for (bar a lighter; which meant my dad had to blow out imaginary candles but that definitely added to the memories). The house is insanely large, but is homely and functional. We didn't venture further than the pub, a few yards away, but what an experience we had: Welcomed by a full pub of friendly people and a competitive-charity- conker tournament, which we gladly joined and received medals for the pleasure. Our only regret was that we didn't get to play croquet on the lawn due to storm Bert.. however, I hope you'll be pleased to hear that it has only made us yearn for a summer visit; to enjoy the lawn; with a bbq and games.

Weather wasn’t great when we were there but the house had everything and there is a nice pub 2mins walk away. Laurence is a great host would definitely recommend!
