Description
The Barn 2 bedrooms sleeps 4 or 6 max with sofa bed.The Barn is the most characteristic of our self-catering apartments. Occupying the west end of the Farmhouse this delightful accommodation has been converted from the old barn. On the ground floor there is King-size bedroom, luxury bathroom with shower and bath and an open plan vaulted living/ kitchen area. The Barn features a well-equipped modern kitchen, wall mounted TV, Free Sat, Large Sofa with integrated King-size sofa bed, woodburning stove and The Diana Dors* stained Glass Window. A galleried mezzanine floor contains a Double bed. A set of glazed patio doors lead out to a small garden with decking area for outside eating.
Please note that there is an additional supplement of £30 per night for use of the sofa bed. Twin beds available @ £20 supplement per room.
We do allow well behaved dogs for a small supplement of £20, but please do ask first.
Flintstone Cottages are a collection of 5 luxury self catering holiday cottage rentals, that are light, airy and modern, located only 4 miles from Chichester and 5 miles from Goodwood in Sussex. These self catering holiday lets have been converted to a very high standard, mainly from the out buildings of the Victorian Flint knapped Sussex Farmhouse, to create a 2 bed barn (sleeps 4-6) a 2 bed loft (sleeps 4-6) a 1 bed apartment (sleeps 2-4) a 3 bed cottage (sleeps 6-8) the exception is the 3 bed lodge (sleeps 6-8) which is a newly purpose built construction.
Flintstone Cottages offers ideal self-catering accommodation for, family holidays, short breaks, mid-week breaks, weekend breaks or for group bookings such as wedding guest accommodation, a large family wishing to meet up (whilst still retaining an element of independence) or alternatively, booked as a convenient rural base for an individual or couple to have a quiet get away.
The 5 holiday cottages combined offer beds to sleep a total of 22 guests (11 couples). In addition, each property provides a sofa bed, which would be ideal for an additional couple or children, by utilising these, sleeping accommodation can be provided for a maximum of 32 guests.
Open Barn style parking is available adjacent to the apartments. The apartments are very secure and private being half a mile down a remote farm track; yet very close to Chichester and the surrounding amenities and attractions. Four of our properties have wood burning stoves and they all come provided with Smart television, DVD player, CD radio and free Wi-Fi.

Perfect for Family Holiday
By SmileySJK on 14-Aug-2018We booked out 4 different cottages as we were in Chichester for a big family wedding. The cottages were perfect for socialising between cottages with family. We had a great family BBQ on the Saturday and there were plenty of tables, chairs and BBQs to use. We also visited Uppark House and Petworth House, and other family members popped to Butlins, or the towns of Chichester or Bognor.
Luxury accommodation, friendly staff and great location

It was very well equipped, stylish, light and airy and the bed was very luxurious and comfortable. The outside space was great and the provision of BBQs a lovely touch. Will definitely be returning - thank-you Flintstones.

Luxury accommodation, exceptionally clean, beautifully furnished and well equipped, everything you could possibly need for a relaxing stay. Friendly helpful staff and great location. Roomy modern cottage
By Jas771 on 26-Sep-2018Really lovely cottage, very modern and beautifully fitted out and clean. Plenty of room with double doors off the main area as well as bedroom. It has a lovely setting off the main road, so very quiet but within close proximity to so many places to visit. Jo was helpful throughout the booking process, which made it easy. We rented as one of four of the cottages for a family long weekend and it was perfect. Pubs we recommend The Crown & Anchor at Dell Quay - good for walking before relaxing with great food in a beautiful setting; the Gribble Inn just 1 mile away and the George & Dragon at Houghton.
Excellent property, beautiful location

We had a family Wedding on the weekend of the 10th of August
By Ashley McEvoy on 24-Aug-2019We had a family Wedding on the weekend of the 10th of August this year 2019 at the Barn who recommended Flintstone Cottages. We booked early and so glad we did because the accommodation is fantastic in every way. Every thing you need is there, the accommodation looks brand new and high spec. It’s spacious immaculately clean. Piping hot water all the time and of course wi-fi for a large amount of kids. We used the grounds and bbq and really did not need to go anywhere else. We did go to the Gribble pub close by, a thatched ale pub which sells kegs of licence which is a plus. Wonderful Jo and Steve are most welcoming and nothing was to much. I would recommend The accommodation keep an eye out for the sign on the road which leads down a short lane to your amazing retreat.
