Description
The Cottage (3 bedrooms) Sleeps 6 or 8 max with sofa bed.The Cottage is the second largest of our self-catering apartments. There are three bedrooms consisting of two double and one King-size bed, a luxury bathroom with Shower and bath plus a separate cloakroom. It offers a light yet cosy open plan living area featuring a well-equipped modern kitchen, wall mounted TV, Free Sat, Large Sofa with integrated King-size sofa bed & wood-burning stove. A set of glazed patio doors lead out to a small garden with decking area for outside eating.
Please note that there is an additional supplement of £30 per night for use of the sofa bed. Twin beds are available in one of the bedrooms @ a £20 supplement.
We do allow well behaved dogs for a small supplement of £20, but please do ask first.
Flintstone Cottages are a collection of 5 luxury self catering holiday cottage rentals, that are light, airy and modern, located only 4 miles from Chichester and 5 miles from Goodwood in Sussex. These self catering holiday lets have been converted to a very high standard, mainly from the out buildings of the Victorian Flint knapped Sussex Farmhouse, to create a 2 bed barn (sleeps 4-6) a 2 bed loft (sleeps 4-6) a 1 bed apartment (sleeps 2-4) a 3 bed cottage (sleeps 6-8) the exception is the 3 bed lodge (sleeps 6-8) which is a newly purpose built construction.
Flintstone Cottages offers ideal self-catering accommodation for, family holidays, short breaks, mid-week breaks, weekend breaks or for group bookings such as wedding guest accommodation, a large family wishing to meet up (whilst still retaining an element of independence) or alternatively, booked as a convenient rural base for an individual or couple to have a quiet get away.
The 5 holiday cottages combined offer beds to sleep a total of 22 guests (11 couples). In addition, each property provides a sofa bed, which would be ideal for an additional couple or children, by utilising these, sleeping accommodation can be provided for a maximum of 32 guests.
Open Barn style parking is available adjacent to the apartments. The apartments are very secure and private being half a mile down a remote farm track; yet very close to Chichester and the surrounding amenities and attractions. Four of our properties have wood burning stoves and they all come provided with Smart television, DVD player, CD radio and free Wi-Fi.

wonderful relaxing countryside retreat
By Donna S on 01-Aug-2020The cottage is a modern well-presented self-catering accommodation with 3 double bedrooms, sleeps 8 (including sofa bed.) It is 10-minute drive from Chichester - in the heart of the countryside with beautiful views and very peaceful. We had a wonderful relaxing break. The cottage had all the home comforts we needed - washing machine, dishwasher, 2 toilets, separate shower cubicle, bath, log burner, free wifi, tv, blu ray player, dining table, large sofa. It was immaculately clean and towels and bed linen provided. The bedrooms were very comfortable. All had double beds with their own wardrobes, mirror and bedside lamps. Outside you have your own private garden with decking and outside table and chairs. There is a bbq as well as a tumble dryer to freely use. My children loved the large communal garden too - which had a large trampoline to use. It is also dog friendly. Jo is an amazing hostess - and provided everything needed for a stress-free relaxing break.

Perfect

Perfect family accommodation as able to use larger place for Xmas meal together ie the barn. Children loved being able to 'visit' each other! All properties used fitted out to high standard and child friendly. Highly recommend all properties used for our stay. Thanks.
Well equipped modern accommodation, great for groups

We were a group staying in various parts of the many property options which was ideal for us attending a wedding at a nearby location. The cottage was a good size for the six of us, is modern and very well equipped. It would be ideal for a family with the benefit of some added facilities outside that would keep children entertained. Certainly good value and I would definitely recommend this to friends. Also, a very efficient booking system and professional communications made the experience trouble free.
Modern, bright and everything we needed for a great weekend.
By WebboLondon on 23-Mar-2018We stayed in the Lodge for the weekend when my husband raced at Goodwood. We were 4 adults and 2 children. The lodge was very modern, beautiful kitchen and bathrooms (showers huge!!) and all impeccably clean. Everything was catered for. We cooked and enjoyed meals in the lodge both nights. Beds extremely comfortable for a great night’s rest. There was enough space to socialise as a group but also to get away to spend some quiet time. Parking was right outside the front door and the Lodge is located for easy reach to Goodwood and Chichester. Jo popped in to see we had everything we needed, which was a lovely touch. I would thoroughly recommend this Lodge to family and friends and would return again. Thanks for a lovely weekend!
Modern, bright, stunning location
By pallas44 on 18-Jun-2018We are a family of 18 (10 adults, 8 children) who traveled over to West Sussex from Ireland and mainland Europe for a family wedding. We found the whole set up suited us perfectly, the grounds are immaculately kept, its so safe for the children who by the way loved the trampoline, the houses are well equipped with all mod cons and although you are in the middle of countryside the town of Chichester with all its amenities was minutes away. Jo is the perfect host and if we are ever in the locale again we will be sure to stay. Thanks for making our weekend away so special.
