Clearviews – Luxury Group Accommodation in the Shropshire Hills AONBThank you for considering Clearviews, a beautifully renovated property offering spacious, high-quality self-catering accommodation in the heart of the Shropshire Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Perfectly positioned with spectacular views towards Caer Caradoc, the house is just half a mile from Carding Mill Valley (National Trust) and a short, level stroll into Church Stretton, with its pubs, restaurants, supermarket, and independent shops.
For shorter breaks there is a minimum charge per stay of £1,800 even though the quote shows less.
Clearviews has been thoughtfully designed for multi-family and multi-generational holidays, groups of friends, walking and cycling groups, sporting retreats, corporate off-sites, overseas visitors exploring this historic region, and even a respectful hen retreat (single-sex groups by agreement; sorry, no stag parties). Prior to the closure of TripAdvisor/HolidayLettings, the property consistently achieved 5-star reviews.

Accommodation & Living Spaces
Originally built in the 18th century and now fully renovated, Clearviews offers approximately 2,700 sq ft of generous contemporary living space arranged over multiple levels, providing both communal areas and privacy for larger groups.
The property sleeps up to 10 adults across five super-king bedrooms, each with its own private en-suite featuring underfloor heating and heated towel rails. Bedrooms 1 and 2 also include a bath with shower. Super-king beds can be configured as twin singles on request (additional £20 charge per bed). Bedrooms 1 and 2 also feature full-size bunk beds suitable for four/five children, with an additional nightly charge applying beyond 10 guests.
Living areas include a large lounge with comfortable leather sofas and a wood-burning stove, a second sitting area with TV, Freeview, and another log burner, and an impressive open-plan chef’s kitchen and dining space. The kitchen is fully equipped with oak cabinetry and worktops, double oven, five-burner gas hob with powerful extraction, large microwave, two dishwashers, larder fridge, espresso machine, Nutribullet, breakfast bar, and undermount 1.5-bowl sink. The dining area features a 3-metre solid oak table seating up to 14 guests.
A utility room provides a washer, dryer, additional fridge/freezer, and ironing facilities.

Outdoor Space & Location
Outside, guests can relax on premium solid composite decking with outdoor rattan seating, enjoy al-fresco dining, or unwind in the outdoor hot tub while taking in the stunning countryside views. A large lawn offers space for outdoor games and activities.
Parking is available for up to five cars, including three covered spaces, with security lighting. The Yew Tree Inn in All Stretton is just a two-minute walk away, while Church Stretton’s wider range of eateries and shops is around a 15-minute walk.

Pricing & Booking Information
Clearviews is offered on an exclusive-use basis, and pricing reflects the size, quality, and prime location of the property.
There is a minimum charge of £1,800 per stay throughout the year, regardless of season or length of stay.
Summer holiday stays are priced from £2,900.
Easter and Bank Holiday weekends are subject to a three-night minimum stay at £2,500.
Christmas and New Year bookings have a three-night minimum stay at £3,500.
Two-night weekend breaks are available at certain times of year, while midweek stays (Sunday to Thursday) require a minimum of three nights. Peak-season changeover is typically on a Friday, with greater flexibility available outside these periods.
For late availability within four weeks of arrival, Clearviews may also be offered as a bespoke ground-floor, one-bedroom sleeps-2 retreat, subject to availability and revised pricing.
All prices include electricity, gas, and firewood.

By Mathew Shaw on 09-Aug-2024Had a great week stay with our parents. The superking beds and en-suites worked really well for our family group. Enjoyed several walks in the Shropshire Hills and Carding Mill Valley is just around the corner. The Yew Tree was doing pizzas and live music one night which we all enjoyed. The hot tub and garden were great for relaxing too. Sara is very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Amazing views of the hills and yet close to town. Hopefully we'll be back soon, perhaps for a Xmas get together!
