Description
A beautiful lodge located at the end of Spring Lake where the ducks congregate and swans nest. This lodge offers tranquility and convenience. Enjoy the activities available within the Water Park and explore the delights of the numerous nearby picturesque Cotswold villages. Visit Bourton-on-the Water (with a high street running parallel to low bridges over the river Windrush) or Ashton Keynes (boasting more bridges over the Thames than London) to name just a couple. Take a trip to the nearby spa town of Cheltenham, famous for its festival and Gold Cup race course, or Swindon with its large designer outlet mall.Watch, or try for yourself, the water-skiing and inflatable rides on Spring Lake or enjoy some of the other outdoor activities available at the water park - tennis, sailing, cable wake-boarding, kayaking, horse riding, boat hire, bird watching - to name just a few. Keynes Park Country Club has a man-made beach and fishing lakes suitable for fly or course fishing.
For cyclists and walkers alike, the many miles of cycle-track offer a means of exploring secluded villages and country pubs serving local dishes.

For fish lovers, a visit to the nearby Bibury trout village is a must. Here you can have a picnic, buy (or catch your own) fresh trout or simply wander between the trout pens and feed the fish!
For those who don't want to cook, the Lakeside brasserie which is just a short walk from the Lodge, serves a wide range of snacks and meals which can be enjoyed on the waterside deck or inside watching sport on the numerous TVs. The Boathouse pub and nearby hotel with spa and pampering treatments available to non-residents, are located close-by.

By Nicole H on 22-Aug-2017We loved the lake view and watching the water activities right outside the windows. The double doors allowed us to bring in some cooler air as it was lovely and hot outside. Our kids 5 years and 7 months loved feeding the ducks and swans. Any issues we did have were dealt with very well. The internet went out for us which we were unable to resolve with the help provided and a few items that need repairing or replacing which couldn't take place before our take over but other than this it was a very good. We would recommend.
Peaceful setting, lovely view
By The H on 17-Sep-2017The property had everything we needed for our stay, the view from the deck is lovely. Perfect from morning breakfast to your evening glass of wine. There is loads to do in the area and the owners have supplied plenty of leaflets for ideas. The wifi if you need it works well, we didn't use the little club house but it is there of you want to. `I was happy watching the water skiers on the lake from the deck. We would definitely go back.
Simply Fantastic

Lodge has everything needed for a relaxing holiday and the welcome gifts were well appreciated. Booking very easy and hosts happy to help with questions and general information.
Location is everything

Fantastic Lodge - Amazing place

I don’t usually write detailed reviews but we were so impressed that we felt it was the least we could do! The kitchen was very well planned with enough space to cook a family meal on the 6 ring cooker and everything we needed was provided. The large living area was bright and the sofa was very comfortable. The large flat screen TV with lots of channels, a DVD player and selection of DVD’s were very much appreciated by our teenage children and there are a good selection of games and DVD’s for younger children. There is also a good size dining table and six chairs. The lodge had a downstairs shower room and an upstairs bathroom. Both bathrooms were equipped with a high standard of fittings. All bedrooms were a good size and were comfortable, light and airy. Parking at the front of the lodge and at the back is a large decking area with table and chairs and barbecue. The view over Spring Lake is outstanding and is truly the jewel in the crown. Even my teenagers enjoyed feeding the ducks and swans every morning. The lodge was spotlessly clean throughout. Overall the lodge was a great place to spend time and we are already planning our next stay! We very highly recommend the lodge as a short holiday rental and is suitable for longer stays as there is so much room. The lodges are also patrolled by security 24 hours which was reassuring. Booking process was easy and the price most competitive compared to other lodges around the Cotswold Water Park – but don’t be put off by this as we did not miss out on anything that a pricier lodge would have given us! Thank you!
