Description
The Cartshed is part of a family run business, located on a working farm near Retford, Nottinghamshire. Following a renovation of one of the out-buildings, from a derelict cartshed used for storage, to a characteristic two bedroom property, we are delighted to now be offering The Cartshed as a self catering holiday home let for up to 4 people and two dogs. Minimum stay is 2 nights.The Cartshed is also available for longer lets should the need arise. Please get in touch for further details.
The Cartshed is remotely situated just outside of the village of Clarborough, with many walking and cycling routes as well as local attractions on the doorstep. However, if relaxing is the main purpose of your stay, relaxing on the private patio or cosying up next to the log burner is a must!
We welcome up to two dogs per bookings and have a dedicated grassed field in front of the property for you to use should you wish.

By Tara on 17-Feb-2024I booked Helen''s place for colleagues who were working in the area. Helen is a great communicator and her place was prefect providing all the home comforts needed when working away from home. I will defiantly book with Helen again if her place is available.

Won''t be our last stay!
By Roger on 22-Jan-2024This was our first stay at The Cartshed but won''t be our last! We love the views especially when there fields were covered with snow. The property was easy to find even in the fog - that was down to Helen''s excellent directions. The property was easy to access, clean, warm and well-equipped. The beds were particularly comfortable. Helen was very helpful throughout and dealt quickly with the queries we had. We loved the peace and quiet and would like to return in the Spring or Summer.
