Overview
Description
Private Couples' HideawayThis lodge with hot tub is ideal for romantic couples looking for peace and privacy and we’ve always gone the extra mile to ensure this is what they get. Of the last 110 reviews 93 have scored 10/10! We care very much about our guests’ experiences and are always just a phone call away to offer help or advice as appropriate. This is just one of the reasons we have so many repeat customers!
Our Couples' Hideaway is in a very private location accessed by electric gates, with a hot tub and summerhouse that are never overlooked. It has a large, dog secure deck surrounded by mature trees. Although in the grounds of a larger holiday park we are completely unconnected with them and clean and manage this pristine lodge ourselves, getting rave reviews pretty much 100% of the time.
Ideal for romantic couples it's nestled in an area renowned for walking and cycling and is on the edge of the Peak District.
Briefly, the property consists:
Lounge with dining table, reclining sofa and armchair, flat screen smart TV, record player with a selection of LPs, free WiFi, panoramic windows overlooking woodland. Double bedroom. Kitchenette with double hob, microwave, air fryer, toaster, fridge. Bathroom with shower.
There is free parking outside the lodge.

Leave ReviewWoodlands Retreat
By Jodie-Elise on 06-Sep-2025, · September 2025 This was our second stay and we’re so glad we came back. Really dog friendly the lodge/decking area was secure so we felt able to really relax in the hot tub whilst watching the dog play. The lodge itself had everything we needed. The bed was super comfy we slept so well! The location was perfect for us quiet and peaceful but everything you need within a 10 minute drive. Check-in and check-out was easy and the wedding anniversary banner on the table was a lovely touch ️ All in all a peaceful hassle free getaway (once again) and I’m sure we will be back soon! Thank you!
