Leave ReviewPeaceful location with views
By Katherine on 08-May-20259 of us stayed here (5 adults & 4 teenagers) and it was perfect for us. It was in a peaceful location with views in the distance of the sea and St Michael’s Mount. We even found a lovely walk into Marazion. We had everything we needed and Emma even left a little basket of goodies, which was a lovely touch. We will certainly look to stay again if we are in area.
Wonderful stay
By Inaz on 22-Aug-2025We had a wonderful stay! Communication was great with quick responses and the check-in was smooth. The location is perfect, 6mins drive to St. Michael’s Mount, 30mins to the Land’s End and other nearby attractions. The place had everything we needed and was very comfortable. We all thoroughly enjoyed our time here and would happily recommend it! :)
Absolutely perfect
By Kayleigh on 01-Aug-2025Our stay was absolutely perfect - the home is in a great location (so close to many tourist attractions) and has been beautifully cared for with a lot of attention to detail. The rooms were spacious, the kitchen was well equipped and the living room was beautiful - you can even see St Michael’s Mount from the window! It worked perfectly for our large family. Overall, a 10/10 experience with a wonderfully attentive and responsive host. Thanks again, Emma. I’m sure we’ll be back!
Beautiful House. Perfect Location
By Carly on 25-Jul-2025We have just returned from a wonderful week staying at The Countryside Retreat. The house is absolutely beautiful and fully equipped with everything you could possibly need (and more!) for your stay. We had 5 adults and 5 children in our group, the house was just perfect for all. The garden is great, lovely seating area and BBQ (we sadly didn’t use, we seemed to run out of days!) It is a perfect location to explore South Cornwall, we were out exploring everyday but home to comfort and relaxing. The house manual that Emma has complied is amazing for lots of local beaches, tips and suggestions, local areas to explore, restaurants and the local pub. The booking process was very easy, Emma has been great. The views from the house are incredible, St Michael’s Mount, fields and beautiful sky's. We feel very lucky to have found this wonderful house and have already started to look at dates to return. Thank you for sharing your home.
The house was lovely and clean
By Deb on 16-Aug-2024The house was lovely, very clean, all the bedrooms were great and we weren’t squeezed for space as a group of 10. It’s in a very quiet and private area with good access to places nearby (by car). We loved Cornwall and would really recommend St Ives for shopping and culture and the beaches near Hayle for swimming and surfing. Would definitely recommend Emma’s place, and whilst we didn’t need any help whilst we were staying I have no doubt Emma would have been super responsive.
Spacious, modern, and has everything you need
By Gary on 05-Jul-2024This is a fantastic place to stay. The house is exactly as shown in the photos. It's in a nice, quiet location, but still close to everything in Western Cornwall. The house is spacious, modern, and has everything you'd need for your stay. Emma was easy to communicate with and helpful throughout. Highly recommended!
