Fistral Lodge sleeps up to eight guests in four bedrooms and offers Five Star luxury in the popular Retallack Spa Resort just inland of Cornwall's stunning north coast. Surrounded by tranquil countryside, the resort offers exceptional on-site facilities and is close to the popular seaside towns of Padstow and Newquay - a superb choice for families and couples looking to holiday by the sea in reach of Cornwall's most famous landmarks.

In a prime waterside position looking over the lake, Fistral Lodge is easily accessible with the A30 just five minutes drive away. Accommodation is light and airy and perfect for families as well as those with limited mobility having an open-plan living area, two bedrooms and a wet room on the ground floor, as well as two additional bedrooms (one being en-suite), family bathroom and an additional lounge upstairs. Fistral Lodge also has its own private six seater hot tub on the veranda where you can relax whilst soaking up the views over the lake.

The resort has some of Cornwall's finest beaches within a ten to fifteen minute drive. Padstow with its bustling harbour, golden sands and first class restaurants is just eight miles away. The glorious surfing haven of Newquay and Rock (across the water from Padstow) are fifteen miles, St Austell with its famous brewery is twelve miles and Wadebridge is just six miles where you can hire a bike and access the Camel Trail for a sedate cycle along the estuary to Padstow.

Cornwall's many iconic landmarks and attractions are within easy driving distance. Visit the Lost Gardens of Helligan, the world famous Eden Project, Fowey with its bustling harbour and pretty estuary walks, Port Issac (home to Doc Martin), Tintagel with its legendary links to King Arthur and Boscastle. Alternatively, head in the other direction to the picturesque Roseland Peninsular, St Ives or Penzance - there are no shortage of great days out in Cornwall!

For those who like to keep active, there are water sports for all energy levels along the coast, super coastal and countryside walks and lovely cycling along flower filled lanes and cycle routes like the Camel Trail. Alternatively, park the car and simply relax in the peace and tranquility that surrounds the Retallack Spa resort with on-site facilities including a spa for pampering, fabulous indoor heated swimming pool, restaurant and bar, beach, tennis, golf, gym, fishing and even an aqua park during peak seasons.

The lodge in detail:
Downstairs - Two bedrooms. One superking, one twin. super king. Large limestone wet room with walk-in rain shower and high quality Villeroy & Boch fittings, large open plan kitchen with granite work surfaces, dishwasher, fridge freezer and NESPRESSO CitiZ machine (Please bring capsules). Family lounge, flatscreen SmartTV with Freeview, free WIFI, utility area with washer dryer, iron, ironing board and airer.

Upstairs - Two bedrooms. One superking ensuite, one twin. Family bathroom with jacuzzi bath and separate shower. Large airy lounge with flat screen Smart TV, DVD and Xbox 360.


Free WI-FI throughout the lodge.

Fully equipped for babies and children of all ages. We keep a travel cot, highchair, baby bath, microwave steriliser for guests use. Retractable stairgates are also fitted top and bottom.

Private balcony and decked area overlooking the lake with hot tub, garden furniture and charcoal BBQ.

Fully serviced to 5* standards. Includes fluffy bath sheets, robes (x2) and a basic welcome pack on arrival. Supermarket deliveries (Tesco Wadebridge & Sainsbury's St Austell) are available direct to the lodge.

Guests have full access to resort facilities*. Included in the rental is access to the leisure club (swimming pool, sauna, steam), fitness room, and play area. Payable at the resort is the Flow Rider, Wake Park, Aqua Park, spa, fitness classes and fishing. Guests are welcome to use the restaurant and bar which serves breakfast, lunch and dinner.
