Description

Park Cottage is a sturdy stone Victorian house previously known as Ethel’s Cottage, in memory of our former housekeeper who lived here. When my grandmother went to France to nurse the sick during the First World War, and sensed that she would not return, she said: “look after the house, Ethel”. Ethel did so until her death four decades later. The large light kitchen/dining/sitting room provides relaxed and contemporary living space. Glass double doors blur the lines between inside and out and give easy access to the decking outside, al fresco dining, barbecue and garden. There is a ground floor bedroom and wheelchair-accessible wet room.

New Year Stay

Amazing cottage very modern and warm and cosy! Located in a small village with access to walks from the bank garden of the main house.

Family Christmas

We spent Christmas at Cossington with our 2 year old and it was perfect. The house was decorated tastefully and felt cosy and comfortable. With the stair gates and downstairs bedroom, it made for a very easy stay with a little person. The grounds were absolutely stunning and we enjoyed exploring the walled garden and the meadow beyond. We also attended a Christmas Eve service at the village church and were made to feel very welcome by the parishioners. We''ll be back for sure!

Relaxing Time

The cottage was just perfect for 6 adults and a dog. Everything in its place and very well looked after. It made our stay so much more enjoyable. Will definitely consider going back again.
