Description

This beautiful Provencal Bastide is within walking distance of the village of Cotignac. It sleeps six people and has a large garden and a private swimming pool. The house has an apartment on the top floor which sleeps two and is the main part of the house. It has a sitting room with TV and wifi, a dining area and a double bedroom with a bathroom with a bath and shower over. There is a second studio apartment on the lower floor with a double bed and an en suite shower room. Also a sitting area/ dining area and a corner kitchen to make hot drinks and breakfast. This apartment is not connected to the upstairs so is accessed from outside through the garden, as is the bedroom next to it with twin beds and an en suite shower room. All bathrooms have a WC. There is also on this level a summer kitchen with a BBQ and table and chairs which is good if it rains. The pool is private and has a terrace and sun loungers. This is not suitable for small children as none of the bedrooms are connected with the others, but excellent for adults and teenagers. There are numerous terraces to sit and eat of just enjoy the garden and views. Cotignac is a very active village with lots going on in the summer, markets, music in the evenings and other festivals each week. The area is an hours drive from the coast and also from the Lac St. Croix where there are water sports. All the villages around are pretty and have weekly markets on different days. There is good walking and cycling.
