Summer at Bea's

We had a lovely time here, great location and great scenery.

Easter break

Gorgeous cottage, right next to the golden sands of Druridge Bay. Would Recommend: Yes Tips for other travellers For food the Drift Cafe is a must. Plus the Old Boat House, Jaspers or the Fisherman’s Shack in Amble. There’s a small convenience store in the caravan park just up the road. Then it’s all magnificent beaches, epic castles, and wild and wonderful hills everywhere you turn.

Had a lovely Easter weekend stain at Beas cottage. Would definitely recommend. Very clean and had everything you would need for a break away. Good base for the Northumberland coast. Would Recommend: Yes Tips for other travellers Lovely Fish & Chips at Widdy chippy, about 2-3 miles from cottage. Pele tower & gardens just opposite the cottage. Well worth a look round and all run by volunteers! Alnwick, Alnmouth Amble all close by to visit.

Beautiful cottage

Our fifth visit to Bea's Cottage! It just gets better and better. Everything about it, including the host, is outstanding. Would Recommend: Yes Tips for other travellers Recommend a sunset puffin cruise from Amble around Coquet Island to see hundreds of seals and puffins, and four species of tern along with many other birds.

Bea's

We had a fantastic stay at Bea’s cottage. The cottage has been beautifully renovated and the views, both from the main bedroom patio doors and the outside bench are amazing. We were blessed with lovely weather, so we were able to make the most of the cottage and the surrounding area. Would Recommend: Yes Tips for other travellers The beaches are all lovely in the area, particularly the beach which the cottage overlooks. However, we also enjoyed walks at Bamburgh, Alnmouth and Embleton. The towns of Amble, Warkworth, Seahouses and Alnwick are also worth a visit.

Beas Cottage is excellent both in terms of location and accommodation. Super-clean, very comfortable and well-equipped (including for babies). Fantastic wooden train-set, which provided hours of entertainment for all! Within easy reach of a great beach, perfect for families. Owners are extremely friendly and pleasant to deal with, very helpful. Have already booked for next year!
