We have just spent a short break at Sitting Pretty and couldnt be happier with our whole experience from location to standard of accommodation. The location is fantastic for exploring the coast; we have visited Ilfracombe, Woolacombe, Coombe Martin, Lynton & Lynmouth, Braunton, Saunton Sands & not forgetting Croyde Beach. Everywhere is so easily accesible if you stick to the A roads where possible and not listen to Google Maps who had us down some pretty narrow roads at times!! Google is not always the best option. Sitting Pretty has everything you could want for a home away from home, it is warm & cosy and joy above joy provides a non stick frying pan! Taking regular short breaks in October I have got used to taking my own frying pan for the all important full English to set us up for a days walking our dogs, most properties do not have a non stick frying pan which causes no end of frustrations for who has the broken egg. Its the little things that make a holiday into a fantastic holiday and Belinda has thought of everything providing us with a thoroughly enjoyable break. We have covered many miles walking our dogs who we think are now broken as they have slept the whole way home, lumbered into the house and are still snoozing, evidence they have enjoyed their break too. We think they will be missing the walk to the pub tonight for a pint (for us ) and a packet of scratchings (for them) oh well all good things have to come to an end. We cant recommend Sitting Pretty highly enough and would love to return.
What can I say - we had a fantastic holiday staying at 'Sitting Pretty'. The location was perfect - very quiet and a short stroll to the beautiful Croyde beach and village. The bungalow was fully equipped with everything we needed and a nice private patio area for our little dog. All in all a very relaxing week and we will definitely be back. Thank you Belinda for a great week in your bungalow :)
We've stayed in Croyde many times, it's a lovely location. Sitting Pretty has everything a family needs. It's situated in a peaceful safe place, ideal for families. Close to the beach & town.
Had a great time,weather good, facilities excellent.Had lovely walks through the fields and down to the beach.Local shops and eating places not too far down the hill.
Enjoyed a weekend break in Croyde with a group friends. Making the most of the beach, waves and the beautiful village of Croyde. The house is in a perfect location, with everything we needed for and weekend to remember. Also the owner made the experience even better, by being such a pleasure to deal with. Looking forward to coming back.
This was our first time travelling with our puppy. Sitting Pretty was the perfect place with a secure patio out the back and plenty of places to walk the dog, not to mention the very short walk to the beach. The house itself was very clean and fully equipped with everything our family needed. We loved our stay and will definitely be returning.
