A Welcoming Cosy Farmhouse
By Maureen on 26-Nov-2025Bridgend Farmhouse was a lovely property. Before we arrived we were sent detailed directions and information. On arrival lights had been left on which was really welcoming as were the milk, plentiful ground coffee and biscuits. The sofas and beds were very comfortable and the heating, plus log stove (with free logs and kindling) made it a very cosy stay. There are plenty of walks direct from Boot and also it's near the steam railway station. We went for a gorgeous meal at the Boot Inn which is next door and the staff were very friendly.
Great weekend with family
By Bruno on 07-Mar-2025Had a great stay in this cosy farmhouse. Would always recommend! Very cosy living room. We had a baby with, enjoyed every second of it.
Great accommodation in a stunning location
By Michael on 26-May-2025We have just stayed for several days in the Farmhouse. It is in the most fantastic location in Boot - walking from the door and 2 great pubs really close. Accommodation was comfortable- there were 8 of us - kitchen well equipped and modern and the rest of the house quirkily ancient. Floor boards may creak but I slept much better than I do at home! Having a garden to sit in was also a bonus particularly when the weather was so gorgeous. We will definitely return.
Characterful Cottage
By Joanne on 26-Oct-2025Lovely place for a family get together. Warm and cosy, good facilities. The creaky floorboards add character but did cause our dog some confusion! Nice location overall, if a little out of the way, but walks from the door and spectacular scenery. Would book here again.
