Overview
Description
VThe house is situated in exclusive Daymer Lane and the beach is a short child friendly walk from the house and there is no need to take the car out! The terrace and front lawn offer privacy with barbecue and garden furniture and is relatively dog proof all though the gated area behind the house is completely dog proof .Entry is either through a garden gate at the front of the house or through double white gates at the side of the house which leads into the dog friendly enclosure which also contains loo/shower room +outside tap opposite the kitchen door for cleaning down after coming off the beach.!There is an oil fired AGA as well as electric cooking. There are 2 dishwashers! and separate sitting room. On the 1st floor are 2 double bedrooms, a single bedroom & small twin bedroom as well as large bathroom with bath, walk-in shower & wc. On the 2nd floor is a large twin room with cot and another bathroom with bath, walk-in shower & wc.
Daymer Bay is considered a very favoured location(few properties are rented out and well known owners like to remain discreet!)-the beach is safe, sunny disposition and renowned for wind surfing.Walking to the beach gives the options of walking left to St Enodoc church or across the beach or golf course to Rock(1.25 mls) from where a regular ferry takes you to Padstow(5-10mins) or walk right around the cliff with magnificent views of the Camel Estuary and Pentire Point leading to Polzeath(1.5mls) which is one of the best surfing beaches in England

Bars House review
By Phil Harris on 18-Sep-2024Bars House is a very well equipped five bedroom property in a great location, close to the beach and in our case the South West Coastal Path. I would highly recommend this house for anyone wishing to explore this lovely part of the Cornish coast.

Bars House
By Julie Sensecall on 08-Jul-2016Stunning house and location! We recently spent a glorious week in Bars House with friends. A party of 4 adults and 5 children had a truly memorable holiday. The facilities at the house were just perfect, the outside shower was brilliant for washing off sand after a day on the beach, and the boys just loved their bedroom in the attic! The kitchen is well equipped, and the barbecue in the garden was a wonderful touch, and well used due to the sunny weather we were lucky enough to have. The owner was very friendly and approachable, and couldn't do enough to help us, even telephoning during our stay to check everything was OK! A super house for a family holiday, within easy walking distance of the lovely beach. Fingers crossed we can come again one day soon. 07/08/2016 at 1:55 PM
Bars House
By Michael Reid on 19-Jan-2017A fantastic location near Daymer Bay Our family(2 adults and 3 teenage daughters) enjoyed a week in this large, comfortable, well-equipped family home just a few steps from beautiful Daymer Bay. Despite being winter the house was warmed by the AGA and electric heating which made it cosy to return to after our walks and daytrips to Rock,Padstow,Port Isaac, Tintagel and a wild and wet Land's End! 01/19/2017 at 5:46 AM You responded on 02/04/2017 at 8:21 AM very pleased that all the improvements we have made are appreciated!

By Ian Gifford on 30-May-2017It's more about the location than the House. The Bay is fantastic Dog /and Child friendly - big enough for both. Walk to Rock along the sand. Or for the more adventurous get a lift to port Isaac and walk back, a stunning part of the S West coastal path. 05/30/2017 at 6:21 PM
