Ramblers Retreat has a neatly enclosed private garden and patio area to the front of the property. It is in easy walking distance to a convenient Co op store and Thaxters large garden centre and coffee shop.
The garden has fresco dining table and chairs for outdoor dining and morning coffee.

The beds and linen were excellent quality and the host has added thoughtful extras, coffee / tea/milk /cereal/biscuits. There looked to be anything you would need like hairdryers/washing machine/iron etc all very obviously available. The flat is part of a larger house conversion and I was aware of other people in those flats but nothing that was loud or intrusive. The flat itself has a private front garden area and its own entrance so feels perfectly private. the host was helpful and responsive but not intrusive. The bathroom was very clean with a decent shower and a welcome bath, and plenty of hot water and the heating was clearly explained. Kitchen well stocked with things to cook and clean as you would like it to be. I can't fault this stay it was excellent

By Steve on 28-Jan-2024Great get away place to stay. Highly recommended. This is a fantastic little flat, I say little but it is actually very spacious. It was warm and cosy and had every facility. The owners had left tea, coffee, milk and cookies for us. The bed was comfortable and the place was quiet. There is a take away near by and a shop a short walk away. The owners contacted us to ask if we needed anything and were very on the ball.

By Jo on 01-Feb-2022What a wonderful place to stay. The location is great for visiting Sandringham and convenient for lots of walks around the very picturesque North Norfolk coastal area. The accommodation was toasty warm and spotless, well equipped for a few nights or a longer stay. The additional touches were very thoughtful, and felt like home from home. We didn’t try the two pubs in walking distance as the weather was poor, but I’m sure we would when the weather improves. The shops and other amenities close by came in handy. I would thoroughly recommend and I’m sure we will be back.
