Meadows Drift is a gorgeous countryside escape for large groups, hidden away in the Blackdown Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Once apple lofts and linhays on a busy farm, these beautifully converted barns now welcome up to 16 guests across seven bedrooms, with sweeping views over the Otter Valley.There’s plenty of space for all ages to enjoy: a games room with pool, table tennis and table football, a cosy movie room, and a large garden with a children’s play area and private hot tub. Guests also have 15 acres of private grounds to explore, with meadows leading down to the River Luv for picnics.
From the doorstep, enjoy glorious walks or head into nearby Honiton for shops and eateries. Family attractions, historic houses, and the Jurassic Coast beaches are all close by. With excellent road links and trains from London in under three hours, Meadows Drift is perfect for family holidays, gatherings with friends, and peaceful celebrations in the Devon countryside.

By Maksymiw on 03-Mar-2025The whole experience was fabulous. We loved the hot tub and the log burners. We had a movie night the large TV was brilliant for this. We would definitely recommend this house for a large group party.

By Hough on 04-Apr-2025The house and surroundings were beautiful, the space for the children and dogs in the garden was amazing, and they all loved running around and playing. The house was so well equipped to cook for and serve food for all of our large group (we managed a BBQ and a full roast dinner), there was even a hand mixer so we easily made pancakes for breakfast. It was a perfect location to bring 4 families together for a fun and relaxing weekend

By Norman on 06-Jun-2025Meadows drift is a fantastic place to stay .We had a family celebration here and the age range 20 up to 94 were all more than happy with the accommodation.Great to have the hot tub and games room, we even made us of the rounders bat and outside trampoline . Would definitely come and stay again .One minor recommendation was to have more cups/ mugs but then again we are massive tea drinkers!!!All in all a fantastic family place to stay

The house had everything a multi generational family could need including a spotlessly clean hot tub and excellent games room. A very peaceful and special place for a family gathering - we loved every minute of it - thank you !
