Description
Noyer is converted from the original farmhouse and retains all the charm of the original building with oak beams. Generous living space downstairs is accessed from the raised outdoor dining terrace and includes a separate kitchen, dining and living room with views over the pond to the fields beyond. A double bedroom can be configured as a super-king double (180x200) or twins (90x200). There is a downstairs toilet and a bathroom with shower and double sinks up a short flight of stairs. Upstairs there are two further bedrooms, one can be configured as super king size doubles (180x200) or twins (90x200) and the other is a single (accessed directly off the upstairs double bedroom).Noyer sits within the courtyard of an old Périgord style farm now called Au Coin Des Arbres. We are located in the hamlet of Ballande 500m along a no-through road with very little passing traffic. A network of footpaths and tracks pass directly by Au Coin Des Arbres and the village and chateau of Biron is a 30 minute walk through the woods.
Au Coin Des Arbres has a large outdoor pool (13mx7m) with sunbathing terrace, a large field with games including volleyball, badminton and disc-golf. We are surrounded by nature with plenty of opportunity to watch wildlife.

Your hosts, Nick and Rachel, are English speaking and live on site so we are available to assist with sightseeing recommendations and to help with making reservations..

Beautiful and peaceful location set amongst unspoiled countryside with just the sounds of nature to be heard. Our Hosts Tony and Lisa were extremely welcoming and a font of local knowledge offering many suggestions of where to visit and dine. Our Gite was equipped with everything one might need and was spotlessly clean and comfortable. Baxter, Tony and Lisa’s Labrador enhanced our stay with his well mannered and kind nature. We hope to return again to unwind and relax before too long.
Absolutely beautiful and incredibly peaceful

We’ve just spent a week here - the gite is spacious and well equipped, the infinity pool is clean and beautiful, and the site is very well maintained. Tony and Lisa are fantastic hosts, knowledgeable about the local area and attentive to the details of an enjoyable holiday. We Highly recommend!
What a magical place
By Mopsy Hamp on 22-Aug-2024What a magical place. This is our second time at Au Coin Des Arbres and it continued to exceed our expectations. Tony and Lisa are wonderful hosts and helped us out with their knowledge of places to go throughout our stay. The location is idyllic, with a fantastic fenced and alarmed pool. Frisbee golf and badminton were a hit with the kids. It is also fantastically located for French ‘Go Ape’ and Go Karting amongst other things. The 5 bed gite we stayed in had a fantastic newly renovated bathroom, which made a great difference. It’s well accommodated and had everything we needed (if we did need anything Tony and Lisa were able to source them.) I can’t recommend this place enough.
