Wonderful holiday

By Reading on 03-Sep-2025

What can I say? We have had the most wonderful time here. from the moment we arrived - and saw the beautiful house and garden. The welcome pack was so thoughtful and perfect hosts. We have explored the area and eaten in the fab village restaurant. The velorail was great fun, Sarlat great for a day out and many other places recommended. The garden and pool are a perfect added bonus and much needed when when we had a hot day. We loved eating outside the we could and are sad to be leaving. Thank you so much for a fabulous stay. Sarah and Nick are marvellous hosts. The welcome basket was so generous and appreciated. The property just oozes charm and was immaculately clean. The outdoor areas are magnificent leading all the way down to the river. The space afforded so much opportunity for the children to play. The swimming pool was wonderful and the cleanest and most wrll naintained I have seen. We adored this beautiful Gite. Thank you Sarah and Nick.

Perfect family week in the Dordogne

By Neil Burkin on 12-Aug-2025

We had the perfect relaxing week. The property is exactly as described and Sarah and Nic were exceptionally friendly and helpful. We stayed with three children aged between 14 to 5 with the aim to relax from our busy work/school lives and maximise family time. The property was perfect - we prepared and ate every meal outside (having bought fresh bread in mornings from walking distance village) and the pool was perfect for playing and keeping cool. Despite temperatures reaching mid-30s all week, bedrooms were comfortable and cool, we all slept well.No negatives.Thank you Sarah and Nic

Superb gite

By Helen and James on 12-Jul-2025

Wonderful holiday! Sarah and Nic very helpful and unintrusive. The fully equipped outdoor kitchen was fantastic and with the very hot weather was absolutely ideal, with everything we needed to maximise our time in the gorgeous garden. Pool was excellent and quality garden furniture and lots of options for where to spend time. Gite itself was very comfortable and clean with real character, tastefully decorated making it feel calm and relaxing. Village only a 5 minute walk with a super friendly bar/tabac.
