Relax with family and friends in La Cour, the heart of the former sausage factory, packed with authentic features and architecture.

Enjoy your own fully enclosed private courtyard garden, with terrace and lawn area. The courtyard has BBQ, firepit, relaxed seating area and dining table

Shared facilities with the other gites include 'Le Petit Cochon' honour bar with local beers and wines, pool and darts; and in the gardens giant chess, petanque, swings and slides, football pitch, and 5 acres of grounds to enjoy and relax in.

We have some free weights, yoga mats, and for the more adventurous cycle hire, featuring new mountain bikes, my classic racer(!) and a hand-built tandem for those who love a challenge.

The impressive double height lounge has firestick TV, seating for 8 and original sausage factory features. The fully equipped kitchen includes a Ninja Airfryer. The newly refurbished bathroom has bath and walk in rain shower.
Up the oak staircase the three large bedrooms comfortably sleep 4 adults (2 x king doubles , one of which can be a twin) and 4 children (bunk beds). in the farm themed bedroom

The village is a short walk (half mile) away, with small local store, bar and Sunday market.
The popular Espace Hermeline just 3 miles away has swimming lake, sports pitches, zip line, mini-golf amongst others.
Further afield are markets, chateaux, and the impressive towns and villages of the Perigord

Check in is from 16.00 (although we can try to accommodate an earlier check in if possible - just ask).
Check out by 10.00 please.

We are located in the Perigord Vert, Dordogne, equidistant between Limoges and Perigueux.
It is a 7 hour drive (plus stops) from Calais.
There are daily flights from UK airports to Limoges Airport with multiple car hire options (40mins drive to La Saucisserie) .
Or for a more relaxed and sustainable journey take the train, just over 3 hours to Limoges after an easy change in Paris. Then hire a car in Limoges or take the local train to us - we are just 3 miles from the local stations.

We ask for a €100 deposit (per week per gite) to secure the booking, with the balance due 8 weeks before arrival.
There is also a Tourist Tax which is currently €2.50 per adult per night, payable with the balance or when you arrive.
