Set in a beautiful 4500 estate stretching down to the Solway coast (National Scenic Area), yet only 3 miles from the charming market town of Castle Douglas.This is one of five characterful houses in the cobbled 1805 stable courtyard of Gelston Castle, each one completely individual inside.
House 4 has windows facing both southeast over the walled garden and southwest over the tropically planted swimming pool courtyard, so gets the longest sunshine hours in the courtyard. It is the most compact of the three-bedroom houses, featuring an open plan sitting/dining room with a woodburning stove. The main bathroom, however, is one of the more spacious.
One of the bedrooms can be configured as either superking double or twin beds; master bedroom is a superking double only; the third bedroom is double (Queen) only.
The master bedroom is en-suite; the other two share the main bathroom.
