Overview
Description
This historic former mill, situated within Exmoor National Park and the historic village of Dunster, is the perfect base from which to begin your discovery of this beautiful part of the West Country.A renovated medieval 'fulling' or cotton mill, Fuller's Mill combines period features, modern amenities and a great location to ensure a comfortable and relaxing stay. It is within walking distance of many of Exmoor's popular hiking and biking trails, Dunster village's historic attractions and several excellent pubs, cafes and restaurants.
The Mill house is situated over two floors, with a tranquil, enclosed rear garden and detached off-road parking. The ground floor comprises a large living/dining area with an inglenook fireplace, spacious hallway and fully equipped kitchen. There is also a ground floor toilet and utility room, perfect for storing walking equipment.
Upstairs, the property has three large bedrooms (one double, two twin) and a fully equipped bathroom with a shower, bath and toilet. The upstairs of the property provides fantastic views across Dunster playing fields to the hills of Exmoor beyond.
Outside, the property's walled garden and terrace is the perfect place from which to relax and see the mill stream flowing past. To the side of the garden, you can also see the village's medieval animal pound, now fortunately no longer in use! There is also road-free access to both the Dunster recreation ground and children's play area.

By Hardy Family on 06-Sep-2024Another return visit to Fullers Mill. The weather has been unsettled this week or some would say typical British summer. However this has given us time to enjoy the cottage and local area. A return visit will be something to look forward to.

By Mark and Elena baker on 26-Jul-2020We had a great time at Fullers Mill. A welcome relief after Coronavirus lock-down. The cottage has lots of character with modern comforts thrown in. Dunster is a beautiful old village and the kids enjoyed playing on the expansive beach at Minehead....Great place to come with a dog - fields streams and seaside!
