Description

Springhaven on the Beach

Welcome to Springhaven – where family, comfort and coastal charm come together.
Step inside and discover bright spaces designed for sharing meals, laughter and time together.

Sleeping up to eleven guests in five beautifully appointed bedrooms, the house is designed for families and friends to gather in comfort and style.

Kitchen & Dining
At the heart of Springhaven is the kitchen diner — a light-filled space with vaulted ceilings, a bespoke 3m bamboo dining table, breakfast bar, and bespoke blue cabinetry. It opens onto the patio, with pergolas that can be open for sunshine or closed for shelter, perfect for outdoor meals in any weather. There’s also a large gas barbecue for relaxed family cooking.

Living Spaces
The spacious lounge offers plenty of room for everyone to unwind, there's a separate TV room - perfect for the kids, and another rear sitting room, giving everyone their own space. There's also a separate utility/laundry room to keep things practical for longer stays.

Bedrooms & bathrooms
The master bedroom on the first floor features a super king bed and ensuite bathroom with a shower over bath. Also on the first floor, the four-poster super king suite offers a luxurious ensuite with a freestanding slipper bath and walk-in shower.

On the top floor, you’ll find a king-sized double and a cheerful children’s room (three singles, or one large double plus one single if preferred), both with sea views and a shared shower room.
On the ground floor, there’s a double bedroom with ensuite — ideal for anyone who prefers not to use the stairs.

Location & Outdoors
Springhaven sits in a quiet cul-de-sac overlooking a private green, with direct access to Dymchurch’s long sandy beach. It blends Edwardian charm with contemporary coastal design — light, relaxed, and made for time together. Outside, you’ll find generous private gardens, parking for up to five cars, and an artisanal copper beach shower for rinsing off after a swim. An EV charger is available via the Bookmycharge App.

You can explore every room before you arrive with our interactive 3D walkthrough, or enjoy a pre-recorded video tour at our website.

Just a Short Walk Away
A ten-minute stroll along the sea wall brings you to Dymchurch village, a charming seaside spot with everything you need close to home. Pick up fresh pastries and coffee, explore the amusements, or hop aboard the Romney, Hythe & Dymchurch Railway — a miniature steam railway that’s been delighting families since 1927. Or let the kids enjoy Dymchurch's traditional English seaside funfair.

Eat, Drink & Relax
Whether you’re after fish and chips on the beach or fine dining for a special evening, there’s plenty nearby to suit every taste.

Casual & Family Dining
- The Ship Inn – classic pub fare just a two minute walk away.
- Beach 48 – great for Fish & Chips - a family favourite seaside supper in Dymchurch village.
- The Fig, Rye - quaint breakfast / brunch options a short drive away.

Lovely, lovely house. Warm, welcoming, felt like a family home. Well equipped. Comfy beds. Sunny rooms. Fantastic location right by sea. Very quiet. Big garden. Plenty of space for being together and privacy. Perfect!

Amazing

By Laura on 28-Jul-2025

Springhaven exceeded all our expectations! The accommodation was clean, comfortable and spacious. With 4 adults and 4 children we had space to come together for meals and games but plenty of room to take time out from each other too!!

From the get go ...

By Sarah on 09-Nov-2025

From the get go, Jo was brilliant, she was responsive and helpful with any queries running up to, and during our stay, very quick to answer and help us (random things like a cot and sewing kit) The kitchen is extremely well equipped- one of the best I've seen. The house has a lovely homely feel to it which was perfect for our family get together of 11 and a baby for a 65th birthday (ages 1 to 69) the area was quiet, the beach was lovely. We even played Frisbee out on the front. The garden is sweet, and big enough to play a few games and have drinks outside. The bathrooms are lovely and the bedding smelt so clean! We all had a lovely time and look forward to booking again. :-)

What a wonderful stay

By Jennifer on 28-Oct-2025

What a wonderful stay we had in lovely Dymchurch. Jo's house was perfect for my family (5 adults and 4 children). There was plenty of space, lots of lovely bathrooms (with very fluffy towels!) and the kitchen was beautiful. The children enjoyed the green space outside to play football. It is a great location for strolls along the beach. We also enjoyed Sunday lunch at The Ship Inn and a trip to Camber Sands and Port Lympne. We would definitely recommend Jo's lovely home to our friends and family.

We arrived safe & sound...

By Alastair on 02-Sep-2025

We arrived safe and sound after following Joanna's clear directions. After exploring the delightful 3 storey space with all its bay windows, attractive rooms we all settled quickly in. Our 3 generation group were here for a big birthday, partly celebrated on the nearby Romney Hythe & Dymchurch railway and partly at various other local attractions but also relaxing and eating in the delightful and well equipped house.
