Description
Anchor is a much loved family holiday retreat just moments from the beach in East Wittering. This contemporary and well presented bungalow has three bedrooms, three bathrooms and a lovely open plan sitting room which enjoys full width bifold doors out to the patio garden…the very best of inside out living when the weather permits.Comprising of:
Bedroom 1: King size bed, and en-suite shower room
Bedroom 2: Twin beds, and en-suite shower room
Bedroom 3: Bunk beds and two single beds
The master bedroom at the front of the property has a king-size bed and en-suite shower room. The second bedroom has twin beds and an en-suite shower room and the third has a bunk bed and two single beds, making it a perfect room for up to 4 children if required. (Please note that the house is ideally set up for 6 guests as it is not a huge property, however 4 adults and 4 children would be permitted). There is an additional family bathroom with bath and handheld shower.
The living area to the rear of the bungalow is gorgeously bright and a wonderful entertaining space, particularly when the sun is shining and the bi-folds are opened right up to extend the house into the garden. The kitchen area is modern and well equipped, the dining table seats 6-8 guests and there is seating for 6 guests in the TV area.
The rear garden is a little sun trap with dining furniture and relaxed seating.
Anchor is a 20metre walk to the beach at East Wittering and a 5 minute stroll into the village with all its restaurants, cafes and amenities.
There is parking for up to 3 cars on the gravel drive.

Leave Review2nd stay at Anchor
By D Couch from Sevenoaks on 12-Aug-2024We had another great stay at Anchor (previously ststed at Easter). Anchor is perfect for our family (2 adults, 3 kids) and the location is brilliant. The kids could scooter safely up to the beach and back as well as going back and forth to the sea front. Will stay again I'm sure.
Weekend away
By C Duncan from Binfield on 30-Sep-2024Fantastic location for a weekend away out of main season. Layout of property is great and light filled. Everything you need is at hand
Excellent base for a family holiday
By J Crane from Oxted on 05-Aug-2024We stayed with our daughter and family. The accommodation was excellent and suited our needs. We loved the bifold doors opening onto a very attractive and usable outside area. Location was ideal for both beach and shops. Property was well equipped with plenty of cutlery and crockery. We would definitely recommend.
Chill weekend
By T Francis from Waterlooville on 04-Dec-2024We were a group of 6 friends staying for a chill weekend , beautiful house so close to the beach , really clean and modern but felt comfortable and homely , there was everything you could want and need there , comfortable beds , lovely cozy and warm , 5 mins walk from little east wittering shops, takeaways and coffee shops. Booked with Wellies and Windbreaks , great communication , no problems ! Will be def going back for another weekend .
Perfect stay
By D Couch from Sevenoaks on 11-Apr-2024Anchor provided the perfect accommodation for our Easter stay (my wife and I, 3 kids (2,4&6)and my mum). The 2 ensuites + family bathroom also helped create separate spaces . The location is perfect , a stones throw from the coastline and a shirt walk into town and the ice cream kiosk! It was ideal for us, so much so we've booked again for the sunmer! The value for money in comparison to others makes Anchor a really good option.
