By Jake, Charlotte and Maisie on 03-Jan-2026Tigh Lachie was absolutely amazing, the best we’ve stayed at during our long trip around Scotland this Christmas, Our Doggo Maisie absolutely love it too as it was so quiet! Which is really nice as she’s such an anxious dog so to see her so settled and in her element was amazing for me & Charlotte. They even gave us a blanket for our Doggo & some Christmas treats for her too which she absolutely loved! Exactly what we needed! The owners provided everything we could possibly require for a comfortable stay, including an entire kitchen setup for cooking & perfectly heat regulated rooms! Bathroom was spotless, linen clean & not to mention cosy too! It was wonderful to see the snow falling through the window on the last day; which just added to the Magic. Really we couldn’t ask for more! Everything was Perfect!! Not a single fault with this place & the owners are clearly very dedicated to providing a fantastic service. WE WILL BE BACK AGAIN! ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT!

Tigh Lachie itself was spotless, beautifully decorated, and fully equipped with everything we needed including thoughtful touches like board games and local guidebooks. The attention to detail was clear throughout. The setting was absolutely stunning, it truly felt like a retreat from the everyday. John and the team were fantastic, providing clear instructions and a little welcome gift, which was such a lovely surprise. Whether you're looking for a romantic weekend, a solo escape, or a quiet place to reconnect with nature, I highly recommend this cottage. We’ll definitely be back!

If I could give it a higher rating, I absolutely would! The hosts were outstanding – they reached out before, during, and after our stay to make sure we had everything we needed. We arrived during a heavy snowstorm, but the host ensured we were safe to reach the cottage and even offered to adjust our stay to make sure we got the full experience. Their communication was truly above and beyond! When we arrived, the cottage was warm and welcoming, with everything we could possibly need already in place. The views were absolutely breathtaking, and the rooms were spotless and comfortable. The bed was incredibly cozy, and it was a lovely touch to find staple foods like eggs, bread, milk, wine, and chocolate waiting for us. This cottage is a true gem, and we can't recommend it highly enough! A 10-star experience all the way!
