Getting Here
Set on the Dordogne/Gironde borders, the farmhouse is located very close to the small hamlet of Loubes Bernac and ideally located between Sainte Foy La Grande, Bergerac and Eymet.
Sainte Foy La Grande is a 15 minute drive away with many shops, bars and restaurants and on the Dordogne river. Bergerac is approximately 25 minutes and has a beautiful old town and quay, again on the Dordogne river. Bergerac also has a small international airport. The property is also approximately an hour and 15 minutes from Bordeaux which is a cosmopolitan city with a larger international airport.
Eymet is just one of the many medieval bastide towns that are close by. Each one having a weekly morning market and throughout the summer many more events taking place such as night markets and wine festivals. There are activities to suit all ages and interests, foodies will enjoy the great local restaurants at the heart of France's centre of gastronomic excellence, as well as the wine of AOC Bergerac. Chateau Vigiers which has an 18 hole championship golf course and is only a 10 minute drive away, also has tennis courts, a spa and a Michelin starred restaurant. The area has been described as the capital of world prehistory, and culture vultures are spoilt for choice with caves, museums and chateaux aplenty.
