Overview
Description
Located in the heart of the tourist triangle formed by Sarlat-la-Canéda, the Dordogne River and Rocamadour, the Maison du Pech, a 120 m2 cottage, consists of a ground floor with dining room and living room, extended by a fully equipped kitchen opening onto a large terrace. Upstairs, a 12 m2 bedroom with a double bed and an 11 m2 bedroom with 2 twin beds, are completed by a shower room with WC. On the ground floor, a corridor opening onto the terrace includes a separate WC, a shower room and a sink. The terrace is equipped with a large pergola with garden furniture. Two steps separate the terrace from a 4m x 8m swimming pool, oriented east-west, guaranteeing maximum sunshine. Parasols and deckchairs allow you to fully enjoy the sun, water and surrounding nature. A wood and meadows belonging to the property adjoin the cottage, completing the rural picture of the place. La Maison du Pech will be your starting point for the many tourist activities offered, visit medieval villages, medieval castles and caves, canoeing down the Dordogne and Lot, tasting local products, Cahors or Bergerac wines, accompanied by foie gras or duck breasts. Not forgetting the many festivals that will enchant your evenings.1 Review

By Michael on 14-Jun-2025We very much enjoyed our stay at Maison du Pech. The house is just as it appears in the photos. The charming town of Gourdon is a short drive away with several supermarkets and facilities . The house is in a good spot between all the highlights of the Lot and Dordogne valleys. We had excellent weather in late June and our 2 weeks passed too quickly.
