Description

We are a small farm, now non-working except for a few chickens and three sheep. The two cottages, Rose and Bryony, were converted in 2011 from former cowsheds by the architect Nigel Stock, and are furnished with furniture from Mark Product - our expanding high end furniture business. The design is contemporary with wooden floors and fresh colours. All amenities are new and to a high standard. The cottages are all on one level with views across fields and each has a private west-facing deck with seating and barbecue. You are free to roam over our eight acres with a stunning view from the top taking in the span of Cornwall from north to south coasts.
Flexibility in accommodation is available for larger family or friends group as we have an adjoining door that will enable you to access both cottages.
For children we have a field with a swing and trampoline sunk into the ground, and lots of space to explore and make dens. We are also close to many of Cornwall's finest beaches on the north, south and west coasts. The towns of Falmouth, Truro and Penryn are all close by. A perfect base for a Cornwall holiday.
Please note that you if your party of people is more than 4, you could also rent out the adjoining cottage which will accommodate another 2 people. We have found that this works very well for a larger family group or friends.

Notes on accommodation:
All provided and included in price: Electricity, heating, Wifi, cot (advise when booking). High chair (advise when booking), towels, bedlinen, Smart TV, Ipod dock. Disabled access (enquire for details), wood burning stove (free logs), fresh milk and wine on arrival.
Please enquire about babysitting (extra charge).
You will enjoy great privacy. The cottages are detached and 12m from the main house, with all windows facing the main house having obscured glazed.

Outside:
The cottages are on an 8 acres site of farmland which you are free to roam.
The cottage has its own private deck and fenced garden (dogs are allowed).
Private decking area with barbecue and outside furniture.

Idyllic. Peaceful.

Perfect location if you enjoy peace and quiet. But, not too far from anywhere. The views are amazing. Lovely spacious kitchen/lounge/diner. Wet room is fab. Great level access for wheelchair users or anyone with mobility problems. Kathryn & John make you feel welcome.

Comfortable and private

We had such a lovely holiday here! We hired both cottages and the children loved the adjoining door, they could be together from breakfast until bedtime, it really made their holiday so much fun! The cottages are very comfortable and they had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay. Even though we didn't get particularly nice weather we always came in to a warm, cosy and welcoming cottage. Location is excellent for attractions and supermarkets too. We would love to return.

Lovely and quiet place

Highly recommended, well equipped and nice house, beautiful surroundings and friendly hosts. Also very nice for the dog, fenced garden and open fields for running.
