This unique oak framed property provides a haven for two.
Breakfast on the balcony, soak in the hot tub, relax on the decking or doze in the hammock - all overlooking the private, accessible woodland and pond.
In the evening enjoy a round of table tennis then kick back and light the fire pit.
Lots of birds and wildlife to see.
The coast ( 15 mins drive east) with dog friendly beaches;
Countryside to north/west.
Market towns of Alnwick, Morpeth, Rothbury 15-20 mins.

The accommodation was clean, comfortable and we were delighted with the welcome hampers for humans and dogs. The hosts and property stand out as being one the best stays we have ever had. From the moment we arrived we felt at home; the Hide is beautiful, well maintained and just an absolutely beautiful place to stay. A welcome basket for not only us humans, but also Bruce our dog, he was delighted! A lovely touch. The accommodation is tastefully decorated, clean and had everything and anything you need for your stay, honestly Louise and Phil there is nothing you have not considered! We were blessed with lovely weather, which was a bonus; the hot tub was so relaxing. The view and surrounding countryside is a joy, and the area has plenty to offer in ways of days out/beaches/ restaurants/ pubs. We have been on many short breaks, but in our opinion The Hide is thee best we have had. 3 nights was not long enough. Hopefully will be back soon! Thank you

By Karen on 09-Sep-2024The Hide is really lovely! Really well equipped & well thought out space inside & out. Nice welcome pack of goodies waiting for us, which was most appreciated! Hot tub is great. We love Northumberland beaches! Phil & Louise are great hosts & we hope to visit again!

By Vincent on 13-Sep-2024We've just had a lovely stay at "The Hide", it was peaceful, central for all the sights and attractions Northumberland has to offer. Louise had provided extra touches which made us feel right at home, and we made use of the Hot Tub , Fire pit, and "night sky pack". Louise had also provided loads of attraction brochures,with lots to do. After long days exploring Northumberland, it was great to come back and relax .
