Awesome family holiday

The cottages are beautiful, well-maintained and equipped for everything you might need plus even more. The location is quiet, peaceful and scenic and the facilities are excellent particularly the pool. This was our second trip but the family already want to go again. I would highly recommend a visit, it is brilliant.
Amazing…we loved our break!
By Gillian on 14-Jun-2025What a fantastic place! Peaceful and secluded but within reach of many places to visit. Horse mill cottage is very spacious with everything you need for a great stay. It’s a real home from home. It was spotlessly clean and comfortable. Beds are comfy and there was a good supply of towels and a generous welcome pack. The wine already chilled in the fridge was perfect. Everything has been thought of. The hot tub in the garden is amazing and we made use of the swimming pool almost daily. We also made use of the log fire and BBQ. Our dog was with us and he had a great time exploring the woodland nearby. There is a wealth of wildlife to see. The red squirrels are gorgeous and can be seen in the beautiful gardens regularly. We could have walked for miles and not encountered another soul! The owners are very welcoming and checked in with us to ensure all was well. We loved this safe and peaceful place and very much hope to visit again.

Its peaceful location and beautiful surroundings make it the perfect place to truly unwind. Everything was perfectly arranged, and we felt at home right away. Definitely a place we’d love to return to!
Mandy’s surprise 50th birthday treat
By Ian on 24-Mar-2025My wife ordered this a year ago to celebrate our daughter’s 50th birthday. She and my wife attended along with 4 others girls Mandy has known from childhood and they had a ball. I came up on the Monday when girls left and Janice and I had 3 full excellent days together. We left a day early so we could see the rangers game on sky. This has been our second visit and I think it’s fair to say we have all revelled in being there. Thank you so much, Ian
