The Old Stables is our most accessible cottage at Newhill Farm, being all at single storey level.The Old Stables has 2 Bedrooms:
1 x Double Bedroom with King Size 4 Poster Bed & Ensuite Shower Room
1 x Twin Bedroom with 2 Single Beds & Ensuite Bathroom
All of the living accommodation is on ground floor level and there is a lovely open plan kitchen/dining/sitting area with high ceilings and an abundance of light
There is a Log Burner which is set for you on your arrival, together with a complimentary basket of logs
Cot and Highchair available free of charge on request
Fully equipped kitchen with a large fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave and washing machine
Peaceful rural location, with lovely views and walking trails straight from the door
On the patio, there is a Private Outdoor Hot Tub
Secure fully fenced garden with patio area, garden furniture & BBQ

A great family holiday
By Paul on 03-Oct-2025We booked Newhill Farm Cottages in Auchtermuchty as a family holiday to celebrate my parents’ ruby wedding anniversary, and it couldn’t have been more perfect. We chose to stay here because of the onsite swimming pool and games room – and both were an absolute bonus for us all. The kids especially loved the swimming pool, and we all really enjoyed having it to use during our stay. The games room was also fantastic and kept everyone entertained. We booked all three cottages so we could be together, and each one was beautifully kept, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The whole setting is peaceful and welcoming – ideal for a special occasion. We had such a wonderful stay that we’ve already booked to come back next year. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a family getaway with great facilities in a stunning part of Fife!
A good family stay

The leisure facilities are very good in entertaining the whole family and it is good to have the forest paths on your doorstep. The kitchen is well equipped for self-catering and the private garden area is a bonus.

Wonderful place to relax
By Diane on 03-Jan-2025This is our 5th visit. The cottage and facilities are great. The welcome pack with the bottle of fizz is just the way to start your holiday in the hot tub. Having the games room brings enjoyment and fun to all. The location is really good especially for dog walkers and not to far to the village pub. We will definitely return. We have stayed in all 3 cottages and find they are all good accommodation.
Great family stay for big birthday

The cottages were so well equipped and clean and had everything we needed It was great to have use all the facilities and the swimming pool and hot tubs were big hits. We also had our dog with us and it was so good that each cottage was fenced in and gated which made it so safe for him too. We had a wonderful time and sitting with the log fire on with the snow falling outside it was just perfect. The cottages were so cosy and warm and was so good to have all the towels supplied. We certainly enjoyed our weekend and would definitely go back
