Welcome to No 37 Quay Street – your charming holiday retreat in Lower Town, Fishguard

Nestled right on the quayside of this picturesque old harbour, this 3-bedroom cottage offers character, comfort, and seaside charm in one of Pembrokeshire’s most loved coastal spots. Whether you’re planning a romantic escape, a relaxed break with friends or a family holiday, you’ll find the space and personality here to match.

Prime for couples or small groups (up to 5 Adults) we’ve styled the interiors with a relaxed arty vibe, wood-burning stoves, terracotta & wooden floors, soft lighting, and cosy corners. We are also very family-friendly when needed, with practical features like a ground-floor shower room, washing machine, and space for children or grand-kids to spread out.

Ideal for April through September or a cosy Christmas by the sea, you’ll find the harbour, beach (that appears at low tide), independent shops, cafés and pubs just a short stroll away – all adding to the “holiday without car-journeys” feeling.

Inside you’ll find:

A light and airy sitting room with wood-panelled walls, comfy corner sofa, two easy chairs and a wood-burning stove – a perfect retreat after a coastal walk.

A dining area with a round table for up to 10, bookshelves, another wood-burner and full WiFi (so you can stream Netflix etc).

A well-equipped kitchen including large fridge/freezer, microwave, electric oven & gas hob – a great space whether you’re cooking for two or ten.

A convenient ground-floor loo and laundry space, perfect for returning from beach gear, dog walks or days out.

Upstairs, three harbour-facing bedrooms: one king-sized double, one twin room which can also be converted into a super king double or a single triple and a cosy single room. The bathroom has a bath and separate shower. The landing has an airer for drying out beach towels and coats.

Heating is generous – with two wood-burning stoves; we supply a basket of logs and fire-lighters for your arrival to make sure you’re comfy from the start. There are also night storage heaters.

Practical details:

Beds are made with fresh linen; tea towels and hand towels provided. Please bring your own bath & beach towels.

A travel cot, high chair and stair-gate are available on request.

Parking is available right outside the cottage with space for two cars.

Booking advice:
Our prime weeks fill fast for April – September, and for a magical stay over Christmas & New Year by the sea, so early booking is recommended. If you’d like longer stays or flexible dates, do let us know
