Description

Smugglers Cottage has been completely renovated to a very high standard and has two bedrooms. This magical cottage enjoys open plan living and a private garden with stunning views of the River Fowey and the pretty Town. For those colder times of year, curl up on one of the sofas, by the lovely log burner. Free logs are included.

Watch the river and relax in the sunny garden, ideal for al fresco dining or chilling out. Smugglers also has a small ornamental pond. The bedrooms are furnished with lovely bedsteads, luxury mattresses and 100% cotton bed linen. Relax at the Juliette Balcony in the Master bedroom and watch the ships go by. Take time out in the beautiful bathroom with bath, feature shower and tumbled glass pebble tiles, there is in addition a conveniently located downstairs toilet. There is free WIFI access, freeview TV and a DVD player.
Cot available on request. We will accept one small dog with an additional charge of £30

The lovely, sunny garden has a slate terrace with table, chairs, parasol and BBQ. Stunning views to the River across Place and the Church. There is a bench seat further down the garden and a bistro table and chairs at the bottom, where you can enjoy breakfast in the sunshine while you watch the boats go by. All seating areas have magical river views. There is also a small pond which may not be suitable for young children. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Bed linen, bath and hand towels and tea towels and cleaning are included.

Smugglers Cottage is perfect for relaxing and provides an ideal base for exploring this very special part of Cornwall. A short walk to the coast path and Readymoney Cove. Free Wifi & logs included

Fabulous restful retreat

What a lovely quiet cosy place! We loved it. I have always loved Fowey and this home was perfectly set with lovely views and a peaceful garden. Super hosts! Very friendly and responsive! 10 out of 10!

Lovely cottage in a great location

Fowey is a great place for a holiday, and this cottage is cosy, comfortable and well equipped. It was super clean and I’m sure in the summer it’s nice to sit out on the terrace and watch the world go by down below. You have to park the car in a nearby car park but this is the case with most places in Fowey.

A delightful cottage that''s more like a home. Everything one could possibly need in a holiday property. It was one of the most comfortable holiday cottages we have ever stayed in and, of course, the views were sensational!
