Description
2 Albert Place is a special house, situated in the heart of Fowey, a bustling, traditional Cornish town with a unique selection of shops and galleries, cafes, pubs and restaurants.Sitting on the bank of the River Fowey, the property is an oasis of calm at the water’s edge, and the stunning view that greets visitors on entering never fails to take the breath away, whatever the weather. For us, sitting on the patio, reading the papers and watching our sons sailing with the local club is a perfect way to relax. What is wonderful about Fowey is that so much is within walking distance: fishing trips; the lovely shops; fabulous walks (both coastal and woodland); and places to hire a dinghy, yacht, kayak or motorboat to mess about on the river. It is quite simply the perfect place to while away an afternoon.

By Kathryn on 01-Aug-2025We loved our stay at 2 Albert Place. The central location is great and its setting right on the waterfront means there are incredible views from the balcony and the bedrooms. Really relaxing. The property has a luxurious feel and had everything we needed for our stay. We’d love to come back on our next trip to Fowey.

The house is spotless, beautifully decorated and furnished, with everything you need for your holiday. I miss coming down to the view from the balcony. Stunning on a sunny day, or when the sea mist is clearing, equally beautiful. So many places to eat. We especially love Sams. Lots of lovely walks and great crabbing from the Albert Dock. Hopefully we will be back for a return visit soon. Jenny

By Andrew P on 12-Jan-2019Beautifully presented to a very high standard, spacious, well equipped and very comfortable. Located in a brilliant position on the waters edge no need to use your car. Wonderful bakery opposite, shops, pubs and restaurants within easy walking distance. We were even treated to a magnificent firework display on New Years Eve which we enjoyed together with a celebratory glass of champagne on the balcony!
