Description
Yew tree cottage is a 16th Century timber framed cottage attached to a working small holding with livestock in quiet rural location.Sleeps five in two bedrooms, both en-suite, with views over the countryside. There is also a fold out double sofa bed in lounge for those who cannot manage steep stairs. There is a cot that can be erected in either bedroom. The cottage has central heating, with a wood burner in the lounge inglenook. When you stay in the cottage you will have use of owners heated indoor pool.
The cottage is an Ideal base to explore the many medieval churches, Framlingham Castle, Woodbridge tide mill, Saxstead post mill, Snape Maltings, Minsmere Bird Sanctuary etc. The seaside resorts of Southwold, Dunwich, Thorpeness, Aldeburgh and Felixstowe are all within one to one and a half hour journey plus many local attractions such as Fynn Valley Golf Course at Witnesham, Easton Farm Park and Stonham Barns which has an Owl Sanctuary, Golf Course, Teapot manufacturer, shops, garden centre and cafe.
